i can totally read this as being about depression, it fits so well. i think thats my fav new personal read on this song/video. fat can be a consequence of but i could also see it as metaphorical of being emotionally weighed down by depression... it also prevents you from participating in life in some ways, much like depression.

But it didn't work because he had the wrong business partner and he lost a lot of money back then... But now everything is fine and he is happy :) He is an expert for classic cars.
