Could you do like a legit, long home tour? Maybe you can split it per room if it's too long? Idk. But yeah. Home tour and tell us where everything is from? I just... love your home and I NEED TO KNOW
Girl please do a book review video soon! Or blog post? I got a few books off your list last year, and fell in love with "A Little Life" ❤ I'd love to know what you've loved this year so far!
I’m really enjoying vlogtober so far! And I might be completely wrong because I only know you on screen, but you seem more content and happy than you did in last years vlogtober. I hope I’m not over-stepping when saying that, but it’s just really nice to see 😊
froncifresh stacking them on top of eachother damages them over time because of the weight of the records! probably won’t be a problem with a small stack but as your collection grows the weight of the pile will start to warp them
So um, please try to get some more things for Sylvester to hang or assemble during Vlogtober lol. I mean, you can take them down once he leaves hahaha.
Please share your thoughts on The Joker. I was so moved by this film that it's really beyond words to describe. I went in not sure what to expect and left feeling saddened and disillusioned and a little bit broken myself. Mental health, access to appropriate care and the struggles that many of us endure as a result should really be at the forefront of all healthcare policies and sadly our society continues to fail at making it a priority apart from lip service. My two cents on the movie and more importantly on Joaquin Phoenix's brilliant portrayal. I felt that Joaquin's Joker deftly navigated his way through a very nuanced and heartbreaking origin story, portraying a man who was beat down by society, a man fighting his many demons both internal and external, a man who would by extension, very conceivably become the Joker. It was so well done that I, at times, forgot that I was watching someone play a character. He was the embodiment full stop, of the Joker. There was a weight and a burden that was so necessary for the central character to carry in the film and Joaquin, with absolute ease, centred his Joker in the human condition, in the plight of humanity - I would argue that he made it difficult for anyone to walk away from the film without identifying a piece of themselves in his portrayal. I can't help but to continually revisit certain aspects of the film even several days later and I keep coming back to the question of why certain people in society are considered almost disposable while others are not. From the start, the odds of having a decent and healthy and stable life are seemingly insurmountable for some of our most vulnerable populations. It makes me so sad. I get that there are class, race and other distinctions but at the core of it, we are all "suffering" just in different ways and to varying degrees, and all trying to cope with living this one beautiful and challenging life that we are given.
Love your choice of books, Estée! I was actually curious about two of them after hearing an interview with the author of "My Sister, The Serial Killer" and David Sedaris is always highly recommended by my stepdad. I think most of his books are very well-reviewed. Now I want "Emotional Education"... :))) Thank you for sharing this... 🌹 P.S. I will definitely recommend the "organisms" lol book to my mother... She is also obsessed with cleansing and good and bad bacteria and all this stuff. People make fun of her because she always finds a way to redirect any conversation to that topic...
Your male friends comment about the zit really made me laugh, your expression was classic. Why do men do that?! - you can get your hair done and they wouldn't notice but have a pimple on your face and they have to point it out 😍😍 Grrr. Plus, I'm glad I'm not the only one that has to ask for help with DIY. I'm just rubbish at it. I've lived in my flat for 15 years and I still don't have a framed picture on my wall. 😂
Adore anything by David Sedaris. His stuff is even better when he reads it so anything of his on Audible is a treat. His does tours nearly every year so if you ever get a chance, check him out live
Hi Estee! Just wanted to mention that vinyl should always be stored upright, stacking them is really damaging to the record and can distort them, sometimes as much as making them 'wobble' while playing. Maybe store them on a shelf nearby instead if you can! x
I need to make more time to read. The next book on my list is the handmaid’s tale. And Omg, how was the joker??? Everyone I know is saying it was amazing. I might go watch it on tuesday🙆🏻♀️✨
"Now... I have enough books, I don't need to be buying any more books... but I bought a few books." IT ME! hahahahah Your whole speech about book weather was SO accurate. hahah
Nice! Make sure you keep your records upright, and in a cool spot. They’re less likely to warp. That is, if modern records are still sensitive to heat? 🤔
I’ve read I Contain Multitudes and can confirm it is great! I’m also reading My Sister the Serial Killer and really enjoying it too. If you haven’t yet, defo check out Chroma Yoga in Shoreditch. Sorcha is my fav yoga instructor of all time 😊 I’d love to see book reviews from you! Please keep us up to date with what you’re reading and enjoying!
Hey Estée, sorry if you already mentioned before but I would love to know where the khaki wool throw on your bed is from? Thanks, loving the vlogs btw xx
I know you have a bizzillion comments to read, but I have to say, you are so gorgeous and even more so completely natural.... you need NOTHING to make you fabulous!!! Lord how nice to wake up looking like you!!!
Estée, if you like Alain de Botton you must read “Essays in Love”. It’s my absolute favourite book, it’s an attempt to rationalise that which is not rational, love. And it gives you all the important life lessons along the way.
Are you familiar with Bibliomancy? bib·li·o·man·cy noun foretelling the future by interpreting a randomly chosen passage from a book, especially the Bible? I feel you seeing “The Importance Of A Breakdown” was no coincidence and the Universe is trying to communicate with you!!! I’d go back and read the pages you randomly picked...they may have some insight! Sorry the Witch in me notices those things 💓
I often read the first few pages and if I am absorbed into the writer's way of writing, I purchase though I do admit that sometimes it's the cover or title that first entice me - though I suppose in some ways that's the point of the cover/title.
Could you do like a legit, long home tour? Maybe you can split it per room if it's too long? Idk. But yeah. Home tour and tell us where everything is from?
I just... love your home and I NEED TO KNOW
Yes I'm working on it!
@ Can't wait!!!

Expectation is just incredible, it's all about female friendships and will leave you crying and laughing ❤
Make sure the sun doesn’t shine on your record player or records. They will warp.
They also should be stored upright!
Thanks for that tip!

Hi estée it is beter to put your records upright and dont lay them down that is not good for the vinyl/records. Just a tip 💋 love your video's 😊
Hi, i'm curious as to why!
Are you Dutch?
froncifresh stacking them on top of eachother damages them over time because of the weight of the records! probably won’t be a problem with a small stack but as your collection grows the weight of the pile will start to warp them
@@eleanoralee2135 yes I am Dutch 😊🇳🇱
@@froncifresh the vinyl can warp because of the weight if you stack them 😊
So um, please try to get some more things for Sylvester to hang or assemble during Vlogtober lol. I mean, you can take them down once he leaves hahaha.
LOL
How cool, I read "My sister the serial killer" a couple of months ago 🤗 I liked it too, it's a light read but deep 👍🏼
AHH YES!! I love Big Mouth- my favorite favorite show on Netflix.

I know you have a bizzillion comments to read, but I have to say, you are so gorgeous and even more so completely natural.... you need NOTHING to make you fabulous!!! Lord how nice to wake up looking like you!!!
Good video. Wondered where the coffee table was from. Maybe you mentioned but I missed it ?
Estee! I love that little table you got! Btw my boyfriend says storing your records laying flat like that might bend them, be careful :o
Yup, gotta be vertical
Where is that coffee table from?
I'd probably hit the stool every time when walking by...😌
Eggs bread, wow such a good code for French toast
Hey ❤️ Have you read ”Educated” by Tara Westover yet? I think you would love it! x
Estée, if you like Alain de Botton you must read “Essays in Love”. It’s my absolute favourite book, it’s an attempt to rationalise that which is not rational, love. And it gives you all the important life lessons along the way.
I’m so jealous Rupi Kaur personally reached out to you & wrote you that letter & gave you that art with her poetry

Sorry the Witch in me notices those things 💓
Great vlog, gut health, I need to get on that! Thanks Chicky
Oh my God, I love the School of Life too!
Your so pretty!
do you guys buy some books just because they look good or is it just ridiculous me? there is gotta be another one oute there
