The Slits and the Clash are really the only two bands to come out of the London punk scene that I still listen to now. The Clash still sound almost as good to me as they did back then, but the Slits actually sound better now.

@@bradleysmith3887eggae is reggae but you gotta live it to master it musically. The slits were spitters just listen to in the beginning it sound like a rap song I have yet to see another punk rock band amaze me as they did.

real music, root of many forms of contemporary art.
overlooked in commercial sense, but that keeps it pure to this day.

The ideal audio set up to listen to The Slits, is a 15" bass speaker and half a dozen tweeter horns ( i.e. a dub cabinet).

Thanks for yet another great session, Vibracobra23. I'm in awe of all these fantastci Peel sessions. I lived in the UK for three years in the late 80s and I listened to the Peel show as often as I could and I taped a few sessions off the air myself. I miss John. Btw, I'm curious, were do your sessions stem from? Did you record them youself, get them thru tapetrading, or are you a nameless BBC employee with access to the old archives?

The palm is like a fruit, an O-range that when you hold a palm-operated device like Android smartphone, it PEELs lightly into those contained substances and gets shared automatische over wifi connections surely CLEAN & GERMFREE just like this Slits radio lp. It is what palms are made for - effectual sharing, no need to tap share button.
