We show you where Yucca Mountain is, and where the government has been dumping nuclear waste since the 40's. Then bring you through two mining towns that have produced billions in gold. This trip is to show the areas that most people in Nevada don't even know exist. Please watch the next few videos to see some of the top gold producing areas in the world. I wanna say thank you for you channel, I find it highly interesting and I love history. You given me a lot of great ideas when I visit the Las Vegas area. I never knew a lot of these places existed. I bet you're looking forward to those Raiders games. Good luck and keep 'em com 'in. I subbed your channel, buddy.

      esail57 Thank you very much! I live in Las Vegas, but I can't really say I like Las Vegas. When you leave Las Vegas though into central, and northern Nevada its just full of history.

    awesome. good footage very creative and good company. the goldfield motel is one of th most exciting places. great job guys. Nevada seems to be rich of history and treasure. beside all of rocks they pull out but the treasure of enjoying the hard work these pioneers accomplished without feat

      Andrew Morales The Goldfield hotel is my favorite building. The lobby ceiling still has a lot of 24k gold leaf on it. When people think of Nevada they think gambling. This state was battle born due to the Comstock Lode. Abraham Lincoln personally did it so the silver could fund the war. Great comment! Thank you Christian

    Well my friend if the mine you are talking about is the Overlook, that was sold on eBay by DLTI. Then I am the one who bought it. My name is Mitch nice to meet you so to speak. Don’t feel bad about it. I had a max bid on it for $5,000. Sorry but it fit to well into my mining plan. As for the pond. So far I haven’t used any water from it. The recharge rate is very slow & there is too much wildlife in the area that depends on it. So I use water at my main camp in Beatty. Maybe some time, if you like you can stop by with your son. & I can give the two of you a Tour. Just check to make sure I am in town first. If you like bring your fishing poles & you & your son can enjoy the pond & catch some fish.

    A while back my partner and I were driving someplace far outside of Las Vegas and saw a place (I think) called the 'Cottontail Ranch'. It was in the middle of the desert... We thought, "ooh, let's stop and see how much horseback riding tours are there". As we pulled in, it became apparent that they had rides of a much different kind! We laughed so hard at our own ignorance, and then headed back on our way.

    • @adventureswithchristian6967
      @adventureswithchristian6967  7 лет назад +1

      +Kevin Rivera Most of the land is owned, or claimed. I get a written ok letter from the owner. Thank you Christian

      @kevinrivera1492 7 лет назад

      Thats the hard part, guess alot of checking around. Just dont want to get shot and tossed in a mine. How easy is it to come up with owners and claim boundaries, i know to look for markers and ones that are in good maintained condition. Thank you for getting back to me so quick! Love the videos. You should do a over night at the one where all the planes went over and sonic booms. That was an amazing building. If i had cash i would buy that up just to have a kick asss place by 51!

    • @adventureswithchristian6967

      It so depends on so many factors. Most are passed down to the kids, and so on. Barrick, and Kinross Gold are buying up a lot, and i'm just waiting for my offer to come. I've seen 20 acre claims go for 500,000, but you just own the mineral rights. The ore or dirt. I hope that helps.
