But, as long as we still have the love n passion for it, we must not give up and keeps trying to continue to "run" to achieve it even we already make a mistake or take the wrong way. We can take a rest for a while before run, but dont ever stop. Because once we stop, it will be over. We will say goodbye to the dream that we once loves. Or our loves for our dreams is just a lie coz we gave up so easily.

I am totally agree do what you want but I do suggest that either you watch a documentary explaining the bu or you dive into the Bangtan universe. all the music videos in order because you won't understand the story as some of bts's music videos pertain to the fictional story that they are currently being turned into a drama. Also a rule of thumb. I know it sounds like a romantic relationship but most of the time it goes deeper. Like for instance this song is about friendship and as she always does Taylor has a very deep dive into the Bangtan universe video. if you want to skip putting the clues together you could go watch that video. Also you did dive into the bu I suggest you go back and watch this video because there might have been things that you didn't realize because you were looking at it through a romantic relationship gone wrong view. but the fictional story that is the Bangtan universe is about 7 young guys who are going to hardships that drives them to life-threatening destructiveness in their own lives and whether or not the main character (Jin) can't save his friends and find out more information about his own personal mystery going on in his life this again is a fictional story. think like a comic book universe

I would suggest reading the story since there always a concept. During the The Most Beautiful Moment in Life albums, there are stories included in Korean. U can find the translation on line. Its like a short story written in a journal-like style. The videos will make more sense. The songs are great regardless.
BTS’ BU is very complex and confusing for newbies. Even older ARMY could still have a hard time understanding it. For now, if you react to any songs from that era (HYYH albums), just react to the music and lyrics probably? I see quite a number of ARMY explained a bit about BU storyline, so I guess you got a picture abt it. This era followed Young Love it was about the emotions they were dealing with. Depression and the fight they faced. This was 2016 and they still battled the industry for respect. I believe there was death threats in 2015 during the Red Bullet Tour and concerts were canceled. They worked so hard and nonstop and their physical and emotional health was poured into their songs and fans found solace in their relatable lyrics 😢

BU videos are labeled as BU content and they can be very confusing. The MVs are the actual BU content while the songs and their lyrics are somewhat disconnected from the BU. The BU MVs are essentially movies without any dialog and only the soundtrack playing. It's also very long and confusing. It spans more than five years of content and includes MVs, short films, a webtoon, books, and a game. They are also working on a K-drama based on it. If you really want to try and figure it all out, good luck. If you just want to know the story, you can watch XCelete's summary of it. If you don't want to bother with any of it, you can just enjoy the songs and ignore the visuals of the MVs. BTS is really good at setting things up so that you can get as deep into it as you want or ignore it entirely if you prefer.

You should watch the WINGS trailer/short films. it will help explain some of the BU background. Celeste also has a great video about the BU and how most of their MV are one long storyline running in the background. Every action and even props, paintings, etc has meaning. 💜

Watch it again and you'll see signs of some of their other songs like House if Cards (it crumbled) and Butterfly (on the card and it was the song at the beginning when V fell in the water and at the end) there is so much content connected.

Also, I just wanted to clarify that the person singing isnt always the one on screen. @10:27 its part of the fictional storyline. They have a hole in-depth story that they tell through music videos, short films, notes, games, etc. It sounds lile a lot but you can grasp a good portion of the story just from watching this mvs & short films on yt. As someone else says, this is not about romantic love, but about friendship - the kind of friendship which is in fact love : which of course can go wrong just as often as romantic love does. BTS very much depended (and depends) on the relationships within the team, and they all regard each other as family. For example, they have said that they want to be close to each others' grandchildren - that is a family statement if ever there was one. FYI, also, the closing clip, Butterfly, is very deeply sad, reflecting on the fear of losing a close friend and trying to encourage him not to end himself. As you now know, BTS have always addressed hard and painful subjects which had been taboo, and still do. Suga has a beautiful song 'Dear my friend' which he released on a mixtape, but performed at his recent tour concerts - in tears. The audience picked up the chorus for him. He was still young when he had lost touch with a close friend and was then told he was in juvenile detention. He visited him there to try to help him but the connection was lost. He later died (I think either from drugs or his own hand). The whole thing clearly remains very painful for Suga who still misses him, but he still shared that with his friends in ARMY. The stage is BTS' safe place...
I have a feeling that you would LOVE BTS R&B vibe tracks. So you need to check out HOME, PARADISE and LOVE MAZE. These tracks have no video so you will need a lyric video. They are not always 100% accurate but at least you will know what they are trying to say. Honestly, the meaning of these tracks is beautiful. 💜

Watch RUN BTS (the 2nd song at the Yet to Come Busan concert) or the dance practice video of it. THey're singing about how in the 10 years they've been running toward their dream, with little to no help from many people in the industry. they're still running but no longer afraid or dejected coz they've done hard work, each of them. there's a portion in the song where Jhope sings the bridge and they do a One for all - All for one hand movement, which to me shows that yes, we run, we're together, we're solid and with Army we run beautiful.
Run was made back when they had very little money to produce videos. They used their staffs cars, because they couldn't afford to rent cars etc back then. RUN was made on a shoestring budget. You are close to entering an alternate universe. This is called the B.U. The BTS Universe.

My BTS Journey started last May with Agust D’s Haegeum & Amygdala….I learned he was also Suga of BTS and down the rabbit hole I went and I’ve been there since. 💜 Still love every minute of it!!

FACTS: do you know when they shoot RUN, they don't have the money to produce the entire MV properly, so most of it is borrowed, specially the cars are the cars of their managers.
Many of their love songs are actually about ARMY. This one happens to be about friendship. It's also heavily linked to the BU storyline. You might have misunderstood the request. They have a song called Run, this one, and they have a song called RUN BTS, which is much newer, and they also have their own streaming variety show called RUN BTS where they play games and do challenges and so forth. This song came out in 2015. RUN BTS the song came out in late 2022. Not that this is not a fantastic song too! RUN BTS has a dance practice version and a live version, but it has no official MV. It was one of the last group songs they put out before their hiatus for enlistment.

This is part of an entire fictional story line called the BU (Bangtan Universe). It is about their friendship not women or anything romantic. No offense but you are nowhere ready to get into the whole BU storyline, lol. And that is because you need to know the members much better for a lot of it to make sense. In the scene where JK and Suga are fighting that is Jhope rapping not Suga. You were probably supposed to react to RUN BTS dance practice. Also, they very rarely, back then wrote anything that had to do with romantic relationships. Their songs and lyrics are much deeper than that and have a much deeper meaning. Most people think that when they first start listening to BTS because most popular music put out there is about love or bad relationships lol. But, as long as we still have the love n passion for it, we must not give up and keeps trying to continue to "run" to achieve it even we already make a mistake or take the wrong way. I am totally agree do what you want but I do suggest that either you watch a documentary explaining the bu or you dive into the Bangtan universe. all the music videos in order because you won't understand the story as some of bts's music videos pertain to the fictional story that they are currently being turned into a drama. Also a rule of thumb. I know it sounds like a romantic relationship but most of the time it goes deeper. Like for instance this song is about friendship and as she always does Taylor has a very deep dive into the Bangtan universe video. if you want to skip putting the clues together you could go watch that video. I would suggest reading the story since there always a concept. During the The Most Beautiful Moment in Life albums, there are stories included in Korean. U can find the translation on line. Its like a short story written in a journal-like style. The videos will make more sense. The songs are great regardless.

This is just a guess, but I think someone probably suggested you react to the song "Run BTS" by BTS, which is different than this one and more recent (it doesn't have an MV, but the live performance at the Busan concert is fantastic and often recommended to new reactors).
But Run is also a great song. It's part of the Most Beautiful Moment in Life (or HYYH) album series that deals with the joys and pains of being a young adult. Like others explain in the comments its part of the Bangtan Universe where they play characters of themselves with fictional storylines. Don't feel bad if you can't figure out everything that's going on in the MVs that are part of the BU because it's not exactly meant to be a linear or easily understood story, and there are Notes released with their albums that go with the MVs and give a lot more detail on the story.
And though there's since been a webtoon and a book that tell an official version of the story, I'd say there's no real "right" way to interpret it all.

This era followed Young Love it was about the emotions they were dealing with. Depression and the fight they faced. This was 2016 and they still battled the industry for respect. I believe there was death threats in 2015 during the Red Bullet Tour and concerts were canceled. They worked so hard and nonstop and their physical and emotional health was poured into their songs and fans found solace in their relatable lyrics 😢

BU videos are labeled as BU content and they can be very confusing. The MVs are the actual BU content while the songs and their lyrics are somewhat disconnected from the BU. The BU MVs are essentially movies without any dialog and only the soundtrack playing. It's also very long and confusing. It spans more than five years of content and includes MVs, short films, a webtoon, books, and a game. They are also working on a K-drama based on it. If you really want to try and figure it all out, good luck. If you just want to know the story, you can watch XCelete's summary of it. If you don't want to bother with any of it, you can just enjoy the songs and ignore the visuals of the MVs. BTS is really good at setting things up so that you can get as deep into it as you want or ignore it entirely if you prefer.

You should watch the WINGS trailer/short films. it will help explain some of the BU background. Celeste also has a great video about the BU and how most of their MV are one long storyline running in the background. Every action and even props, paintings, etc has meaning. 💜

Watch it again and you'll see signs of some of their other songs like House if Cards (it crumbled) and Butterfly (on the card and it was the song at the beginning when V fell in the water and at the end) there is so much content connected.

Good work, Ernesto. I love how open you are with your personal story - very few reactors are, so I loev it when someone feels able to share. As someone else says, this is not about romantic love, but about friendship - the kind of friendship which is in fact love : which of course can go wrong just as often as romantic love does. BTS very much depended (and depends) on the relationships within the team, and they all regard each other as family. For example, they have said that they want to be close to each others' grandchildren - that is a family statement if ever there was one.
FYI, also, the closing clip, Butterfly, is very deeply sad, reflecting on the fear of losing a close friend and trying to encourage him not to end himself.
As you now know, BTS have always addressed hard and painful subjects which had been taboo, and still do.
Suga has a beautiful song 'Dear my friend' which he released on a mixtape, but performed at his recent tour concerts - in tears. The audience picked up the chorus for him. He was still young when he had lost touch with a close friend and was then told he was in juvenile detention. He visited him there to try to help him but the connection was lost. He later died (I think either from drugs or his own hand). The whole thing clearly remains very painful for Suga who still misses him, but he still shared that with his friends in ARMY. The stage is BTS' safe place...
I have a feeling that you would LOVE BTS R&B vibe tracks. So you need to check out HOME, PARADISE and LOVE MAZE. These tracks have no video so you will need a lyric video. They are not always 100% accurate but at least you will know what they are trying to say. Honestly, the meaning of these tracks is beautiful. 💜

THey're singing about how in the 10 years they've been running toward their dream, with little to no help from many people in the industry. they're still running but no longer afraid or dejected coz they've done hard work, each of them. there's a portion in the song where Jhope sings the bridge and they do a One for all - All for one hand movement, which to me shows that yes, we run, we're together, we're solid and with Army we run beautiful.

Run was made back when they had very little money to produce videos. They used their staffs cars, because they couldn't afford to rent cars etc back then. RUN was made on a shoestring budget. You are close to entering an alternate universe. This is called the B.U. The BTS Universe.

My BTS Journey started last May with Agust D’s Haegeum & Amygdala….I learned he was also Suga of BTS and down the rabbit hole I went and I’ve been there since. 💜 Still love every minute of it!!
Congratulations, you have entered the BU - the Bangtan Universe - an alternative timeline that runs through a lot of albums/songs and it started with The Most Beautiful Moment In Life the HYYH trilogy (HYYH 1&2 and Forever) and this video - RUN. The BU is comprised of songs, notes (from various albums), a web toon, a web game and various bits and bobs that have been posted on fan cafes and so on. Butterfly, the part in the credits also showed part of the BU story. You can just enjoy the songs, the musicality of BTS and it is not necessary to dive into the BU for enjoying all this. Only a few ARMY check out the BU because once you do it is one heck of a trip and mind fuck. 🤭😂😉

Ty for sharing ur story. I am glad u got the gal u loved in the end. =0} BTS finds u when u need them the most but many things actually do occur when it's their time and not before. She matured over the yrs and was finally ready for a long last relationship to me. And that time was a struggle for u and made u grow and u could meet her in the middle at last. BTS speaks of youth and love in the early vids but the BU storyline is all about friendship and self love and their later songs are about each other, army or self love. Hugs. NOTE: This is going to be LONG! Consider yourself forewarned. LOL
There are some "Do's and "Don'ts" to watching the guide...so hopefully you haven't watched it yet.
1 - DO have pen and paper handy. Taylor lists relevant songs in the upper left corner of the video throughout. You're bound to hear a couple you'll want to investigate, beyond all of ARMY's suggestions from past videos...and probably this one, too.
2 - DO take your time. The video is long - almost 48 minutes - and it's a LOT of information at once. Some split it into 2 videos, others do it all at once, so whatever works best for your schedule is preferred.
3 - DO make use of the pause button! ARMY doesn't care how long a video is. Seriously, for the promotions of their song "Butter"...well, HYBE/BigHit conned us big time! Many of us sat around for an hour...watching butter melt...in animated form. (In fairness, I think we were all hoping/expecting BTS would pop up at the end to discuss the song, but...nope...just animated butter melting. LOL)
4 - DON'T ask too many questions - especially AS it's playing. Hence the 2nd reason for pen, paper, and making liberal use of the pause button. You can write any questions down that you may have, but in a lot of cases, people are often so busy talking DURING the viewing that they miss the fact that the answer to many of their questions were actually in the video. If you do still have questions, you can ask us at the end and/or make a separate video of those questions that we can answer for you.
PERSONAL NOTE: I usually don't trust any reactions less than an hour. To ME, more than an hour proves the reactor has actually taken the time to fully absorb the video while they were watching it and not just "rushing through it to get it over with because it was requested".
P.S. Welcome to The BU! The BU (Bangtan Universe) is a story that follows the MV characters (not BTS themselves) throughout several videos, albums, and more! It's...a hell of a ride...but definitely fun to watch - in order - to try to piece it together yourself. There are no definite "answers" to *all* of our questions about it, but through the years ARMY has used all the clues and we do have a pretty good understanding of each character/their life/the story. If you're on a PC, tablet, etc., when you click on "show more" under the info., you will see the videos marked at the bottom as "Official BU Content", however, if watching on your phone, for some reason, that doesn't always show up. There are plenty of websites which list all the videos and info. in order, though...if/when you ever feel you're ready to get into it all.
The music and lyrics are wonderful! This is another one, though, that is full of BU (Bangtan Universe) symbolism. There are explanation videos, but until you get into the BU storyline, the video itself probably isn't going to make a lot of sense. Right now, we appreciate that you enjoy the music, show our guys lots of love, and just know that there is a WHOLE LOT more to this journey that awaits you! Love the reactions. 💜
FACTS: do you know when they shoot RUN, they don't have the money to produce the entire MV properly, so most of it is borrowed, specially the cars are the cars of their managers.
Many of their love songs are actually about ARMY. This one happens to be about friendship. It's also heavily linked to the BU storyline.
You might have misunderstood the request. They have a song called Run, this one, and they have a song called RUN BTS, which is much newer, and they also have their own streaming variety show called RUN BTS where they play games and do challenges and so forth. This song came out in 2015. RUN BTS the song came out in late 2022.
Not that this is not a fantastic song too!
RUN BTS has a dance practice version and a live version, but it has no official MV. It was one of the last group songs they put out before their hiatus for enlistment.

Ahhh, welcome to the BU! It’s a fictional storyline that runs through multiple videos, there was a webtoon maybe? Books? Very detailed; very deep; very angsty! You’ll still be able to enjoy the songs and music videos without all of the BU knowledge. Once you are willing to get more into it, it’s a lot! (I’d personally recommend you wait a bit to dive into that)
If you decide to understand the Bangtan Universe storyline… ask~ and the entire chapter/song list will be presented to you…

You really need to make sure you're watching the right videos Is the second or 3rd song in the BU in universe storyline. You were probably suggested to watch the song RUN BTS A totally different song. By the way BTS group songs are hardly ever about romantic love this song was about friendship It's part of the BU. It's the second song in the be you you I believe you should have watched I need you 1st which is also not a romantic love song. RM even stated that when he originally wrote the song I need you The lyrics were I need you friend but it didn't flow right so they changed it to I need you girl. This song BTS run Was released in 2015 the song you were probably supposed to watch was RUN BTS 1 of the 3 new songs released on there June 10, 2022 anthology album title proof.

'At laaassst' by Etta James 🤣I'm kidding, jokes aside, really happy that it worked out and you guys are in for the long haul with a family in tow. On to the song, I'm sure Army has already caught you up on most of everything about the song, and that the song 'I need you' comes before this one if you want to understand this one. Although they look like fun on the surface and to casual listeners, as Army probably mentioned, some pretty heavy issues are going on under the surface, even though the song sounds very vibey and misleading, which is kinda the point. To hit multiple audiences.
This is part of an entire fictional story line called the BU (Bangtan Universe). It is about their friendship not women or anything romantic. No offense but you are nowhere ready to get into the whole BU storyline, lol. And that is because you need to know the members much better for a lot of it to make sense. In the scene where JK and Suga are fighting that is Jhope rapping not Suga. You were probably supposed to react to RUN BTS dance practice. Also, they very rarely, back then wrote anything that had to do with romantic relationships. Their songs and lyrics are much deeper than that and have a much deeper meaning. Most people think that when they first start listening to BTS because most popular music put out there is about love or bad relationships lol. I would suggest still some of the rapping stuff and some of their newer music. Of if you do one of their older songs watch an explanation video about it so it will make more sense to you. You will get there my friend. It just takes time. And ARMY will help you too 💜💜💜
