@@MikesVinylExperience I think the 'Black Sabbath' and the 'Goucho' are the Top 2 for me! I purchased them both, too! 👍😊 Mind you, the 'Yes' and the Devo 'Freedom of Choice' albums come close as well!
@@graemeferdinands5856 I have an original Devo album, is the Rhino High Fidelity version much better? I havent bought it yet but it is still available. Thank you!
@MikesVinylExperience Oh Mike, it's absolutely "chalk n' cheese" !! The Devo Rhino High Fidelity "Freedom Of Choice" might actually be the BEST of the whole Series so far!! (including Black Sabbath!). I have the original F.O.Choice as well as the Special Edition remaster from a couple of years ago, but this new Rhino H.F blows them out of the water!! Do yourself a favour... it is an absolutely MUST GET!! 👌💯👍
Wow, never knew of The Warning. Thanks for turning me on to them! If I might return the recommendation … I saw an L.A. based band about ten years ago, so same time frame The Warnings 1st album came out; called Stars in Stereo. I spoke with the young lady Bec, the lead singer after the show. What a gracious, down to earth young woman she was. Tiny thing, maybe 5’ 0”, you can’t even believe the powerful voice that came out of that stick of dynamite. Check out their album *Leave Your Mark* 👍 Thanks again, great vid!
Nice video on your favorite music of the year so far As almost all the records you picked were reissued you should have titled the video Best Reissued Music of 2024!! Good records but nothing recorded this year!!
Great video! Every Atlantic 75 record has been an absolute home run! My favorite series by far. I agree 100%. Also your media room is beautiful. Love it!
Some good choices, although more on the rei side. Interestingly, the Getz Gilberto rei of Impex has not taken the lead in 3 different shoot-outs with different participants and always on high end audio equipment. It came in rather midfield mostly due to its sterility/low musicality, the AP 45 ranked higher and a „nice price“ type release won an extra star for its musicality but lacked pressing quality. The smiley eq MFSL and some older pressings came in the lower half.
Great line of records there. I’d love some of the 75th anniversary ones, specially INXS and CSN. And perhaps Alice Cooper, in my 6000+ record collection, I still don’t own anything by him, but there you go. But the price with shipping to Norway and customs charge and VAT… yeah. Lots of sheckels for a record. I don’t know, are these sold in brick and mortar stores? Looking forward to the second half of your music journey Mike. Check out my competition if you get a chance 🙂
Yes they are. At least in my area here in the U.S. I'm in the Salt Lake area of Utah. Randy's records in SLC typicaly has AP products in stock. They are pretty good at least the ones that I have purchased. I agree they are expesnsive and even more so when you have to figure the shipping. Try the InGrove in Phoenix area of Arizona. (www.theingroove.com) He has a DHL shipping option that is supposed to be cheaper. Thank you.
yes everything Atlantic75 rockstyle is so amazing but picking out the best from A.P. I would say Gaucho and Aja simply are great. A.P. INXS right on top next to the Steely Dans, it sounds amazing and from numbers I would say the most great song. Also totally amazing was from RSD Van Halen Live Right here, right now Jimi Hendrix - Experience 2015 Re, wow what an amazing "noise free silent" powerhouse, pure fun Marvin Gaye - Whats going on 50th Anni US Version, details on this are amazing My fave purchase was America - Debut album Japan Press from 72, it is my fave album ever and this japan pressing sounds so amazing, far better then other version I have. Will soon compare to an eary US pressing, can wait. Most interesting discovery was from "Safe & Sound Texas Audio Excursion". David is the person who directed me to the most bands I did fall in love with after listening to his videos so I was interested when he said that this was his album of the years. It is the latest album from Tears for Fears -The tipping Point. I can´t point out another band, at all I guess whom were great in the 80s and did put out an album after 2020 with this kind of caliber. Wow what an amazing album, lyrics, the videos, their voices... I would say I did like every song on that album and even would say 5 are amazing. I can´t express or recommend enough to everybody to listen to this album, maybe watching their youtube videos too which simply are amazing
Great albums!! There are so many great one's as part of the Atlantic 75, your right INXS is fantastic as well. I do have the Van Halen and it is excellent! Thank you.
@@MikesVinylExperience i wish Analogue P. would do the albums from America, specially Debut album,. Only them could better the originals. Wish version do you have? I guess you own it right? Sandman is totally my playto song for new people who come to listen to my rig
A wee bit of constructive feedback Mike. You often repeat the same statements multiple times on your VR’s. If you watch this back and critique yourself you’ll see what I mean, especially on this one at the start, you would cut about 3 minutes off each one.
All just fantastic, Mike! Brilliant! 👍
Thank you my friend!

The Pablo series is wonderful (so far). I bought the subscription up front and just received the 6th & 7th of the series today. 👍

@@77MovieFan Love America. I have most of there albums and they sound wonderful. That would be a great demo track indeed. Thank you.
On CS&N does the bass seem off on the first track? Mine is a little heavy handed compared to the rest of the album.
I will pull it out and listen tomorrow and get back to you. I don't rember but I would love to take another listen. I will let you know. Thank you.
