Welding wizard on the gun! It’s a pleasure to watch Kurt. Super clean work boys. The production work is amazing Jeff, getting it done. Hope the young fella is doing well. Keep at it
Killer video boys! Production value is getting better every time! Keep doing what you’re doing it doesn’t go unnoticed and we all appreciate you both and your families for supporting you with this hustle! Anyone reading this who wants to buy merch but isn’t sure, believe these guys when they say the quality is top shelf! Highly recommended!
You guys could use some of that convoluted pipe lots of 90’s cars had on intake tubes for that little bit of air box artwork . And watch how Al ( Skid factory ) and nugget garage supra do their rear / low mount turbo sumps to help oil scavenge and stop turbo oil drain problems . 👁️👅👁️
Fricken awesome video! Probably a silly thought, could you not make a self contained oiling system for the Turbo instead of running it off the engine? Love the Fab video's, Cheers!
Could do. Considered it. But it's another tank, another pump, another filtration system... plus we're running out of real estate! Remember, the #1 goal here is for it to not be visible anywhere. But we have a plan, and it's remarkably simple. We'll get cracking on that once we have the fuel tank sorted out 🤙🏻
Incredible work guys very nicely done video, thank you for explaining bits and pieces like you do for us noobs to learn from (is that a bad thing?? lol) Bloody awesome. Go the iron lion, so cool... mmm our HJ might need your love next lol
For the bit of stainless showing on the airbox, try cut a piece of silicon hose with a cut on the bottom and wrap it around the stainless so it looks like it’s all silicon. Hard to explain what I’m trying to say. Also in hindsight, should you have cut off the piece of plastic off the airbox or did it definitely have to go due to differences of diameters? Great job
Thanks mate! Yeah, i get what you mean, can look into doing something if we want it a little more sleeper. As far as cutting the airbox lip, it was originally so it looked like a silicon was already on it. Once black it should look ok. Not A+ sleeper though, maybe a B- haha
There will be an update hopefully in the not too distant future Gav. But she is in paint and leaving it to rest, degas, and harden before colour sand and buff. Once that's done I'll film a full reveal and vlog picking it up. For now I'm still a fair way from home looking after my young fella's post op recovery, so it'll still be a little but before we get there. But believe me, NONE of you are more keen than I am! Lol
If you didn't cut the collar off the air box you could have used the original 5l boot and just stretched it over the silicon joiner on the throttle body look factory as
Thanks, Darcy! We planned on making a small reservoir for the oil drain/scav pump to draw from, a vent on that is already planned for sure. Hadn't planned on a check valve on the feed line, was just going to run the scav for a period of time after shut off. Will definitely look into that check valve as well. Good idea. Thank you mate
It’s to bad you blokes are across the pond. I’ve been tossing around a twin turbo system for a van project of my. 5.7 ltr hemi, with two belly mounted turbos , breathing through old school side pipes. Be a kool sleeper 😁
This blokes not a welder ,he's a bloody artist💚
Thanks, cheechy! Appreciate it, mate!

Hell yeah, bro, it's the only way!

Yeah, maybe. Can look into one of those boots if we feel the need. Cheers mate
Run check valves on the oil supply to turbo. Or youll have a smokey exhaust. Also a vent on the turbo drain sump. Sure youre all over it.

@@TorqHub yeah the check valve will stop residule engine oil leaking down the lines in the chra.

That sounds like a cool project !!!

Is that a 2.5 inch exhaust and charge pipe ?
Yeah thats right mate, 2.5" stainless exhaust, 2.5" aluminium charge
