Hi India, this is my first time to your channel. Wonderful review. I became acquainted with Julia last fall and fell in love with her music. Julia writes and performs wonderful original compositions as well as covers.
Thanks for a good first-time reaction, India! Julia's acapella (instrument-free) creations have an unusual vibe--soft and gentle, as you observed, with beautiful harmonies. Occasionally, her style is compared with Enya. There's nothing added to their two voices (David is her fiancee) other than "beatboxing" (claps, snaps, microphone taps, and David's acoustic "gymnastics".) I picked the Frankie Valli cover because you just heard the original...but there's lots more! Over the past 10 years, Julia has posted over 125 YT music videos (ruclips.net/user/JuliaWestlinvideos?flow=grid&view=0) including old and new songs, covers and originals, acapella and accompanied, and even a few duets with David. The layered acapella arrangements are her best. They usually have a soothing, other-worldly sound. Your main interest seems to be the lyrics and emotional impact of the songs you review, so you'd certainly enjoy her acapella rendition (ruclips.net/video/9KBsFHTwmfM/видео.html) of Lauren Daigle's Grammy-winning song "You Say" (it brings tears to my eyes every time) and her acapella covers of the classics "Stand By Me" by Ben E. King (ruclips.net/video/W8USdzi-llQ/видео.html), "Can't Help Falling in Love" by Elvis (ruclips.net/video/yApMvm4Tdx8/видео.html), and "Imagine" by John Lennon (ruclips.net/video/x0znHf8eQKU/видео.html).
If you like the one-person band acapella covers, I suggest you react to Inhyeok Yeo. My favorite of his uploads is his cover of Stevie Wonder's "I Wish": ruclips.net/video/pPE1CSh544Y/видео.html

IMO this is one of the best love songs ever written. Burt Baccarac is one of the most gifted writer/composers on the planet.

I am surprised that there is no Pop Shield on the mic?
She is sweet 😊

Rag n Bone Man- "Human"!
nice song, not acapella though !!
You did not hear an instrument played during this performance. Beatboxing, yes, but no musical instruments--just two talented and creative musicians.
Original please. This version sucks.
