Hey, I just got imperium today. At first, I didn't like it the first time I sprayed it I didn't know about the smell but a couple hours later I try'd the cologne again and about 15 minutes later wow this stuff actually smells pretty good
I got mixed results with fragrance world imperium as well. I was exited from all the hype, but was very disappointed with the Performance. The juice smelled awesome, but only lasted around an hour on skin. I had to mega over spay on my clothes to get a few hours of longevity. I already burned through my bottle after 3 months of over spraying. I hope another house takes a swing at Elysium and makes a clone with some more punch 👊.
Try Rocha Delice by Fragrance World . Clone of Diaghilev ( Top notes: Bergamot, orange, lime, lemon, cumin, tarragon Heart notes: Jasmine, rose, blackcurrant, heliotrope, peach, tuberose, violet, ylang ylang Base notes: Oakmoss, vetiver, patchouli, guaiac wood, nutmeg, oak moss, sandalwood, ambrette, labdanum, leather, musk, peru balsam, styrax.) by Roja Dove. Probably the best clone of Elysium is Divin Asylum by Fragrance World. Much closer smell wise than both Imperium and Trillium
Good video,I picked up Hugo extreme today, haven't had chance to wear,but did spray on hand,smells nice, performance seems solid one spray on hand still going strong hours after I sprayed it.
Mine just came in. It does remind me of aventus a bit but I like this more. Hearing about the Elysium longevity and sillage I'm glad I got this instead of paying 200+ for a real bottle thanks Gerard.
Curious if you have tried any of the rvlbrands?? Marshalls had intimate rouge last week and I thought it was good but decided to leave it, however had a small amount of mist left on my hand from spraying and my wife loved it and sent me back to buy it but it was gone. Found opera by that same brand this week and wife loves it also

Love Elysium for that very reason, it's not sweet. Not a fan of sweet fragrances, overall. One of my favorite openings, along with Millesime Imperial. Can't really get into clones, but I know many do like them, indeed.
Ordered this yesterday on Amazon for 22 and am curious to see what the hype is about. Going to do a comparison of it to a Swiss Arabian frag that has some similarities.
All fragrances are already macerated by the time when you buy them, what you mean is called “oxidation” If you buy a fragrance but don’t open it yeah it gets macerated even more but the moment you spray it air gets in the bottle and oxidation starts.
Gerard, I like Elysium Pour Homme Parfum Cologne by Roja Dove but I like the Parfum version of the fragrance more. It is hard to find the Parfum version of the fragrance. The stores that I frequent seem to be pushing the less expensive Parfum Cologne versions of Roja's fragrances.
Parfums Vintage clone, Evolution de L'Homme Soir, is pretty good...though they've amped up the vetiver in the base...granted you'll be paying a higher price for the higher quality clone.
If Imperium doesn’t smell the same on your skin as it does on the strip, I wonder if you sprayed it on your clothes, would smell more like it does on the strip? 🤔
Definitely does it’s a lot closer. Normally the scent doesn’t develop as quickly on clothes but in this case the scent is fairly linear so it doesn’t really matter. Great point Julie.

Elysium is overrated esp with its price. Imperium is ok, but Trillium is better. I have owned all 3 and sold Elysium. I would never buy a Roja Parfums frag again

Elysium to me is a masterpiece Summer fragrance I never heard anyone say its over rated I cant do Imperium. Something about that total rip off bottle throws me off lol

Don’t like this DNA? Absolute fragrance heresy. Prepare the stake for a Fragrance Witch burning. This actually helped out in my decision making. I’ll wait for the weekly wears for further impressions.

Same I just got mine 3 days ago , it smells fenomenal but it doesn't project very well
I can't vouch for it as I haven't tried it, but divin asylum has been getting a lot of hype as a better clone than imperium

Yes I have tried the Opera I liked it definitely leans feminine. I haven’t ran into the intimate rouge yet but I will definitely try it.

Absolutely and j can appreciate that it’s a really nice scent. If you like more refined fragrances with little sweetness this is perfect.

A lot of these cheaper ones get more potent with a little maceration. Hoping for that here.
