Lassies are watching too! Really enjoyed seeing you play my course. Laughed at the expletive following your putt at the first green. It would be interesting to see you play Kingsfield outside Linlithgow and Dundas Park near South Queensferry.
Great video, well put together. Unlucky on the putts but those greens are quick. They are hard for a newcomer. My home club, great tough course with fantastic members. If you ever play it again, I highly recommend playing it off some of the whites. Start at the 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th then 5th, 6th, 7th 8th & 9th. You mentioned the 8th white tee being slightly easy. If you par it, I’ll owe you a tenner, lad. PS that pin on 6th green is very tricky, maybe the toughest position on there. If you make the mistake of landing top tier. You’re 3 putting like the rest of us. Keep up the good work. You’ve got a new subscriber from me.
@@BugsyMalone82 thanks, appreciate it. I imagine greens will be quicker over summer, which scares me 😂 I will definitely be back for a crack at full 18, looking to play j in j the open next year so will get the full experience then. Unlucky on the putts yes but very lucky that my bad shots were so bad I had a shot 😂 Yes that 6th green blew my mind, a lot of good scores have been lost on this hole I’m guessing 😂
@@Scotlands19thHole-it5wu Yeah play The Open if you can, you'll enjoy the test. A lot of people give the course the brush off because its 'only' 9 holes. But with the different tee's, it makes it quite tough. The 6th and 7th destroys my card most weeks haha. GG
Enjoyed this. Prob the best I’ve seen you strike the ball based on your other vids. Your putting isn’t too shabby tbh. I think you need to work more on your pitching/distances to get your 1st putt nearer to the hole. Real golf with the swearing included. TBH canny wait till you have another bad game, the efs n buts is funny 🤪 Cheers Scots guy in Spain
@@FrustratedGolfer thanks again for the feedback. Yes, 100 yards in is my downfall. Definitely something to work on over winter. And it’s only a matter of time, the bad rounds are more common than the good ones.
Ecclesmachan. I understand that this is where greenkeepers ply their trade at Oatridge college, hence greens are fast Great video. A course I've never played. 2 council courses in West Lothian are Polkemmett and Balbardie (Bathgate) both council courses and 9 holes.
The course is still owned by the college but is now rented by Binny Golf Club members who look after the course and condition. The groundsmen course is no longer run @ the college in Ecclesmachen. We have 2 great Greenkeepers Des and Mark and always a friendly welcome.
Started waching only got to the third hole then i went to watch some GOOD GOOD golf as they dont swear 🤬as mutch as you probably do do not think i will be watching any more of your vidios sorry.
@@johnlogue7556 I hear you, my mum tells me off about that as well. Something for me to work on. Might only be a throwaway comment that I’ve picked up over the years but when the mics on it’s very noticeable. Appreciate the feedback.

Thanks. kingsfield was on the radar, hopefully before the colder weather comes

Cracking good video - on a course/club I'd never heard of - but I'm going to book a game there - thanks to your video.
@@jimmacgregor4122 never heard of it myself but glad I came across it. Will definitely be back

Come and try Falkland in fife looks a pushover but I can assure you it’s not.
I’ll need to give it a try
It's next to the groundsmen's college, so it'll be the best looked after course in Scotland! Is it owned by Oatridge college?
@@farty81 I honestly have no idea 🤷♂️ but the course was in great condition, even after 3 days of rain.

Students from the college haven’t been doing work on this course for over 10 years. Since Greenkeeping was moved to Elmwood.
It used to be owned by oatridge greenkeepers college hence the course name
Ahh guess that makes sense. I never knew this.
