He is probably like automatically one of my all time favorite entertainers ever. A true inspiration of creative thinking. Wish I could just like hang out and talk to him for a day.

I love how Reggie will make a beat and then half way through a song just build another one on top of it and drop the first one. Then bring the first one back at the end of the song seamlessly.... it shows how a lot of music is alike..or at the very least how music inspires us to feel a certain way, across genres, cultures and age groups.
That last song in particular is brilliant musically, comedically and philosophically. Reggie is amazing. Wow!

The white rectangular thing with a few colored nobs and buttons is the OP1 by Teenage Engineering, VERY expensive but VERY worth it. He uses a Electro-Harmonix 45000 Multi-Track Looper primarily for the looping (also functions as a mixer too) but he has had the green bit of rig for years (can't remember waht that was)... and his trusty mic.
The green bit is a Line6 DL4 delay pedal.

i feel you but at the same time it is so inventive and he has such musical ability coupled with audience engagement it is fresh every time. this is an hour to an audience who may not be familiar with his work so it is a more rounded set. but all his gigs are entertaining and he uses his background in music to great effect.

The video title made me think Reggie Watts was performing a track that was a re-enactment of Yoko Ono having a mental breakdown... I thought, "Oh no, what has happened to her?"
She already does stuff like that as art performances in museums. I'm sure you could find it somewhere. It's just her making weird screaming and moaning sounds. I looked at the title and thought of that too.
