I love how you are truly genuine of using only roms you ripped or own if it was just easier to get the rom elsewhere but still own the physical especially if your original is too damaged to play it is amazing to know you are still saved and have an alternative to playing again.

FollowTSB's later videos... check what he did to the 3 vita's that got sent his way by his followes to have an idea of where to start then just add apps and games as time goes by. I'll never be able to play these many games so i might delete some of these and put in my backedup PSP ISOs instead. Dont hesitate! Good luck with ur siblings!

tysm, I watched some other half baked tutorial and it didn’t tell me to refresh the live area, was lost until I found you so ty again.
Took me a bit to get it to fully work properly, only needed 6 games, because that's all I had physical copies of, and everything else I had was already working, but it saves me the hassle of having to unmount sd2vita, just to play my physical games, and then remount for everything else, so big ups to you for this easy to follow guide.
Sony must be so glad that I'm too lazy to hack what I buy. Interesting vid though! 🖒
@HicksZ34 With a hacked vita, you can make it run Adrenaline and that makes it work exactly as a 6.61 PSP. It's honestly the best handheld ever after you hack your vita.

One thing though - I noticed that your C drive is pretty much filled up. Now I could be super wrong here because I'm not up-to-date and if that's the case I'm sorry, but from my experience the drives start strugglin (especially SSDs) when they're full all the time showing a red bar eventually leading to their demise. I've had a normal 3 TB HDD die on me quickly because it was constantly maxed out with data. I'd recommend to delete files/progs you dont need and always leave 10% of free space (blue bar) at least on the system drive.
Again, sry if my knowledge is outdated, but do it just in case.

Edit: Question. Does loading the games on the SD card require storage for both the vpk and the files of said vpk once installed similar to installing NSPs or XCIs to the Switch from the SD card? I don't think you were clear on that but I'd appreciate some help with that! Thanks in advance. Also, I'm pretty uninformed with the technicalities of the Vita hax scene as I've just gotten into it about a month ago but it's so much simpler and straightforward than the Switch scene. Lol

Disagree that pkgj is easier. It's the best option if you only want one or two games at a time, but it's shit if you have terrible internet like me and the game only half downloads and then the pkgj app freezes ect... i can only download about 2 games overnight with pkgj, and thats only if nothing goes wrong.
With NPS browser, i can go through the catalogue of games and choose as many as i want to download in one go. Doesnt matter how many times the downloads are interrupted, they just pick up from where they left off. Plus i end up with my own copy of the games i downloaded, backed up on a drive meaning i can forever be adding and deleting games a lot faster if i need to make room on my vita to try out a new game ive never played

What do I do if there’s no app folder on my vita, (show hidden files is turned on) I’m kinda stuck
So i downloaded the games and moved em to my memory card and refreshed my live screen and nothing popped up :/
OMFG i found the solution, i saw that in my tabs i had another vid similar to this one, copy the link and watch the video at 2:47 (should be preset on pc if you copy and paste the link) --> --ruclips.net/video/TCOgncG_kl0/видео.html-- ------ basically, the dude in this vid did not tell us what to do with the nopaystation file properly, so I skipped through the other vid and this is what I found, hope it works

For those that may not know, the Vita is actually region-free. Technically, games from any region will play, but PSN only sells you games from your region, and there's the issue of foreign games not having an option in your language. There is no problems in loved and nothing additional you must do to your Vita to play games. However, videos ARE region-locked.
i have the sd2card adapter and wanna do this but, do i need to take out the actual memory card from the adapter, get a memory card to USB converter THEN plug it in my pc?

For those that get this message when refreshing vitashell
(0 item has been refreshed)
Go to auto plugin
Vita plugin
Scroll down till you find nopdrm and install it
Reboot your psvita
Go to vitashell and click refresh live area
Hopefully it will work

I dont have an app folder. What should i do?
I made sure i enabled "show hidden files and folder", by going to file explorer, then pressing view-->Options, then selecting the view tab, then in advanced settings i enabled "view hidden files and folders etc.
It didnt work, and all the files i can see are (calender, data, mms, vitashell)

when i try to create a new folder, i have the option to "combine" the two files (the one i cant see, and the one i just created). SHould i combine them or just create another "app" folder?

@@TechSavvyBuyer Ok so after i hooked my psvita to my pc succefully and googling on reddit i found the folder! So I copied the game file to the app folder. I dont have a SD2vita so i did follow the red message in the video.
Now when the copying is complete i closed all the tabs and unplugged the psvita from the pc. When i refreshed the livearea screen it said "refreshed 0 items". I even tried to restart psvita and refresh but nothing got refreshed.
Any idea on what went wrong? Cuz im quite sure i followed everything the right way. :/
@@GolDVYT make sure the right drive is mounted in Vita Shell. i.e uxa0 vs uma0 - that is the drive you'd be copying stuff to/from.
bro, with PKGJ you don't need anything else, I downloaded 10 games yesterday including(persona 4 golden)... all games are on there.
Yes but PKJG is slower, It's good to have if you don't have a pc around but NPS Browser is faster

you have to install(then reboot) Nonpdrm by TheOfficialFloW/LMAN from Autoplugin first in order to make refreshing livearea works

remove the "beta." from all your links in the options for it to sync. I guess this is a temporary solution and only for those who already had the NPS browser already downloaded or can get a copy of it from someone. They are moving everything to a new server I believe from some of the posts I have seen about this.

Hi @Tech Savvy Buyer I'm having a serious problem with the sd2vita, I can't install more games than what my vita memory card can hold even though i have sd2vita installed
, I have a 16 GB vita memory card and a 256 GB micro SD , let me give you the rundown on this problem:
1. So, when I transfer files to my micro sd card that exceeds 16 GB of memory(the same amount as my vita memory card) the files dont show, just the folders appear.
2. While in vitashell, I refresh the LiveArea but I get the "Refresh 0 items" message (I have the most recent version of reF00d, vitashell and nonpdrm).
For instance, Iets say I transfer to my micro sd card some backups that in total are 17 GB,in result I can't see the files in vitashell but it still acknowledges the 17 GB and I'm not able to play the backups, however, if the files in total are less than 16 GB then vitashell recognizes it correctly, all the files will display and these backups will refresh successfully, and I'll be able to play the backups.

hey great video. I did every step. when i got to the last part of the step when you need to transfer all the games downloaded to the psvita. i had to use vitashell to transfer the files over and when done i refresh the liveapp and some of the games didnt get detected. How can i fix this issue. i keep refreshing it and still i doesnt detect the game. any advice would be very appreciated.

hii, i was wandering if anyone had any ways to salve a problem that im having, whenever i go to click sync now, it the box pops up with the bar, but it doesnt fill at all, and just stays empty. i double, and triple checked if everything was filled out, and even rewatched the video, and its still the same way
Here's what I did. I deleted the word "beta" from all those web sites. It seemed to not work but then when I got out of the options section it synced as advertised. If you go to the FAQ you will notice that the word "beta" have been removed from those web sites as well. Hope this helps.

They go in the pspemu/iso folder. Put your iso and cso files there. If u get game folders then put them in pspemu/psp/game directory

Newly subscribed. Your videos are awesome. I was actually interested in this bc a couple of games wont download for me on PKGj, which is odd. Henkaku 3.60 - Every other game in existence works fine. I keep getting a "zrif file error, header is corrupt" on both NPS browser and PKGj. The games are FFX and Home: A Unique Horror adventure. Surprisingly, my finace had FFX on her vita so I was able to get that one just by copy/pasting the file. No such luck for the other game tho

You need to install NoNpDrm to vita.

You need to install NoNpDrm if you used autoplugin it might not work correctly so i suggest manually doing it
