Great Teacher, you got real explanation and you have perfect body language that make all people in the world understand what you want to explain. you are a real Teacher. Thanks
Hi man!Awesome video! I´ve been told that I sound like an American, but the only thing that native speakers would react to would be my th-sounds. Thanks!
I am so glad that I am from eastern part of Europe We Slovaks can imitate many strange weird and rustling sounds so our tongues are trained to copy other languages but the bottomline is that we do not have so many common words(with English) as western nations
'Bird' rhymes with 'heard', 'turd' and 'word' - all with the 'er' sound. However, 'sure' here sounds Canadian? Australians and British may pronounce it as 'shore', as in the sea shore. For a Scot, this sounds strange, and 'sure' is started like 'sugar' and pronounced like 'shoe - 'er'. One strange thing about 'American English' is how the 'ah' sound is an 'oh' or 'aw' sound to British ears. When the robot in Lost In Space says "Affirmative', it sounds like 'Offermative' to us.
I have been looking for this kinda videos ..I finally found it..its helpful.. Thanks a lot. But I do have issue pronouncing R when it come to words having "rth" together..but I can do make r sound in other cases.. Explanation is awesome...
Great lesson! It makes those pronounces a lot easier but I still think it's very hard to pronounce faster and correctly. Personally, I think it's like a tongue-twister, haha!
