I felt your pain when the inside of the mouse house fell out!! I also remember the old mangles, often the small ones were used by travelling salespeople to show customers what to expect and how it worked. That may not be the case with your little mangle but it’s a possibility x
Nothing like getting under your blankets and the eiderdown, I much prefer them still than a modern duvet

I had a toy mangle many years ago when I was little. It had a green metal frame. Used to put my dolls clothes though it. I completely agree with you about the seasons years ago, we had proper seasons then. I can remember peeling off the washing from the line when it was frosty and standing my dad's long John's in front of the fire to thaw out lol. Are we getting a lilac pram to match the frill? 😉

I’ve still got my toy mangle ! It’s just like yours but blue ,I was forever playing with my nans one so I think that’s why I got it bought for me 😂😂😂

Hi Caroline my Nan and grandad had a mangle it must have been a posh one because it was fixed to the top of the top loader I’d forgotten all about that till i saw yours I love hillside it’s a treasure trove of ideas and treasures as well as loads of fun love and hugs ❤❤❤

I use a dehumidifier is takes the moisture out of the room Audrey’s the washing quicker on the maiden, we still have a working spinner
