That is not Sheryl Lee Ralph. You don't even recognize who was singing, so you might want to be quiet about things you don't understand. Those are Gospel vocals hun, she sang it exactly as she was supposed to sing it. You can go listen to flavorless singing elsewhere.
You must not have ever attended service at a Black church with a soloist and choir. Honey, the Bible says to make a JOYFULL noise unto the Lord! The objective is to lift the people's spirits and PRAISE THE LORD! And the soloist is the one who gets things started. She did the right thing with her runs and trills. Because I felt the Holy Spirit here in my living room!
