I quite enjoy the 'classic' Davidoff Primeros - it has the same blend (albeit short-filler) that is in the Davidoff Signature No. 2, which was Zino's favourite. Davidoff's are very expensive - too expensive in a lot of ways, but I have never (ever) had a Davidoff that burned poorly, tasted poorly, or was lacking in quality. I have always been willing to spend a bit extra for a Davidoff - it takes you out of whatever negative headspace you might be in. Rather like you found, I can enjoy them in silence - even these small ones. Cheers.
I think that Davidoff is expensive because of their name and quality control. There's a interview at the Davidoff factory that goes over their quality control process. Every cigar is checked and rechecked every step in the process.
These are brilliant. They’re not the longest smoke, but they are always so consistent. They are so smooth it is unreal and the burn is always perfect. Got myself a tin of these and the Maduro version from the one and only davidoff store off st.James. Amazing place to go

Why does a davidoff cost twice the price in Britain, than in the US? Hard for me to understand since it is a British brand. Great review though man! Will have to check these out!
Tried this tonight aswell how spooky managed to bag a box of 6, me and my husband had one each he was not a fan at all but I really enjoyed it. My first Davidoff but his 3rd so ..
See ive had too many bad experiences with Davidoff, they have tended to be Earthy bombs not my thing. However the late hour range and the Churchill range being a real pleasure to smoke so they arent all bad by any stretch the Primeros are also quality however the price point is an issue. Id rather smoke a lovely Inka Secret Blend Red Half Corona over a Davidoff any day but just me. Glad you enjoyed these if Davidoff would just lower the price point just a little it would help as it is You could pay Davidoff prices or get a top shelf Cuban when im being asked to part with that kind of money its going to the Cubans each time. Or buying a big humi full of Inkas but that is my only thing with Davidoff some quality stuff but not all of it by any stretch of the imagination, and a lot of it is over priced.
Hey Rob! Hope you are keeping well man :) Sounds like you've had a bad time with Davidoff cigars. I can't blame you for not buying them. At the price points combined with bad experiences I think id stay clear too! As with all of these things though. We do all have a bad one from time to time. So far Ive been lucky to have a great time with Davidoff cigars. I have no doubt I will come across a bad one one of these days!

I know that especially considering the price, they are sometimes divisive but I've never had a bad one!! They are an especially safe cigar to gift to someone for a birthday or wedding or other special event. If you know that someone smokes cigars but don't smoke them yourselves you can't go wrong with Davidoff or Avo as a gift. Speaking of Avo, they are made at TabaDom which is the same factory where they make Davidoff. I'm not sure of their availability there in London but I think if you 2 were looking for a stronger cigar made by the same folks to review you would enjoy them.
this has been hands down the WORST stick I have ever tried! did not find a single ''smooth, delicate, creamy" note in it.. just sharp, rough, toungue-biting awfulness.. and the aftertaste it left was just horrid.. some recommend this as a starter cigar.. if that was my first cigar ever.. would probably be my last as well

I found it too earthy.. wasn’t great. But ive enjoyed full sized davidoff cigars before
