Initial ID appointment - what's ID appointment? interview date in embassy? 2. date of sputum clearance - does this correspond to the date when we were asked to return for the result of the sputum culture (which was also the day we got our immunization)? I called SLEC and informed me they do not give sputum/medical clearance because they were already submitted to the embassy. 3. expiration of medica exam - is this the date stamped in the sputum exam form which says "report will expire after 3 months on _______"? I received a call from SLEC today informing me that my appointment in going back has been moved to February 14, a day late from my original schedule of February 13. The lady who called me told me that they need to confirm something. When pressed as to what it was about, she then told me that there was a growth in one of my sputum. Shld I be worried? Why only 1 day?
Morning, Nurse Germz. I had my initial med exam appointment at SLEC last April 11, 2022 then was ordered to undergo sputum exam from May 2-4, 2022. After that, I was given the green slip telling to go back at SLEC on July 4, 2022 8AM and never received call as of this time from them. I noticed an expiration date of September 29, 2022 in the slip. Is this the validity date I need to follow to complete my USEm ID and the date I need to watch out for in order to be in the US before this date expires? Thank you.

Sputum result can only be obtained 6 to 8weeks. So, it’s impossible to tell on the day. No idea bakit ganyan so yeah, just pray and believe in God’s will.

As I’ve mentioned sa video, ang SLEC lang talaga makapagsasabi. They base it from their xray result and if there is anything they found that is a criteria for sputum, you will undergo sputum. Sa mga may prev diagnosis, prepare ahead nlng. I had a prev diagnosis too.

Nope. That’s too long. You just need to spit on the collection tube to reach a particle mL and you’re done.But lining up and waiting for turn takes time.
There is a 2mm nodular opacity identified in right lower zone maybe an old healed granuloma. Rest of the lung fields appear clear. (This is subject for sputum test?)
Manila usem ka ba or jan sa singapore? It’s only the affiliated med exam who can say. Sa kanilang result din po sila magbabase. So whatever they see sa kanilang xray, if it falls under that category ma subject of sputum po talaga sya. And sa kanila ka lang din magspusputum. What I suggest, go ahead with the medical exam na.

Never applied for toursit visa. For the chances? Well we can never tell. Advantageous ung mga nagprevious tx or diagnosed talaga since assured na sila na negative. Downside lang is 2 months waiting sa result. Guess, you just have to wait and pray for a negative result.

Funny thing is that I can return to the USA with no medical screening AT ALL if I spent 1 day or 30 years in the Philippines-- and ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS don't have to undergo ANY of this screening before being released to anywhere they want to go in the USA...

Pag incase ma expired yun ng February then yung gamutan eh lalagpas ng February po, di ba mag ba back to zero yung application like from the start po sa USCIS? Or once tapos na sa gamutan tapos expired na Yong application ng visa eh Ok lng mag patuloy na sa interview? Hope na gets nyo po ako hehehe.
@alviebasanez9683 yes and nope. Yes it will expire after a year only if wala kang ginagawa or pibabayaan mo sya. Once mabigyan ka ng ID, nagmedical ka. Ang medical expiration na ang babasehan which is 6months. So if na sputum plus nagpositive, that’s 2months waiting for sputum result plus 6 months for treatment so expectedly lampas expiration, medical ka lang again and you will have another new expiration. Pero not 100% sure ako. Better reply sa mga comments dito na nagpositive kung ano nangyari sa kanila.
Hi, ask ko lang po. I did sputum test in 2022 and its negative. Doing my xray for years now and it just a scar according to results. Nagagamot ko na ung tb ko way back 2006 but since matagal na wala akong medical certificate. How many percent kaya na magiging positive ako? 😭
Had the Same scenario but still got sputum. I’ve discussed this about their criteria and if any makikita nila, automatic na po so accept nlng and make use of the waiting period.

So, history of PTB? If you did the meds, or got a neg results non, then you’ll know what the result will be, negative. The waiting time is just the downside of it.

Mam may mga cases poba na latent TB, Pinagtataka ko lang kasi bawat ma xray ako may time po na wala namang nakikita may time naman na meron. Siguro 3 times nako na xray sa una may findings pangalawa wala pangatlo pinagdudahan lang tapos now pangapat sputum test po. Almost year nadin po lumipas sa mga xray ko nayan
If you’ve watched carefully my video at the start, I’ve explained na may mga sinusunod na criteria ang slec sa pagbasa sa xray nila. I’ve also attached the pic in the video para makita kung ano un. Nah kahit konting dot lang pagtugma sa mga criteria, drecho sputum po yan. Sadyang ang magagawa lang talaga is follow their protocol and wait for 2 months.

I have a 0.9cm nodule on my left lung for 16 years already, and no growth has been seen. Xray results still the same from 2006-2022. I applied for NZ RV recently and of course As expected my xray result came with abnormal findings. I was referred to SLEC for Sputum test this coming Sept 12-14. I am hesitant if I am able to produce sputum since I don’t cough a lot. Do we have a steaming device to induce coughing? Also, I believe that what I have is just scarring from a very old lung infection, do I still need a sputum test instead of a ctscan? I hope you can answer my questions. TIA
Ok lang po laway. Just show them na you’re exerting effort para d na need magrepeat the next day. No steaming device, preparation is your discretion na po. You click this timestamp 1:17 to see the form that contains the ff abnormalities they check on your xray. Nagfofollow rin po sila ng protocol so, we have nothing to do but follow as well. The advantage is you know it’s just scarring so, you’re assured that negative ang result non. The only downside is, you just have to undergo the excruciating agony of waiting.

Yes. Start rescheduling your ID. It’s safe to say at that period of time na. Anyway it will take time na ang USEM magreply. So sakto by 8th week sa sputum clearance mo may schedule ka na. I also explained sa video about this.

@vincentserafino4710 tip lang po yan na magreschedule ka na. Kahit you reschedule as early as 6weeks hanggang sputum clearance mo, it’s not a guarantee na mabibigyan ka agad. So, you want to do everything para mapadali ang reschedule

Depende po sa inu. Ang susundin po nila ay ang xray pa rin nila. Kung anong anonalya makita nila, for sputum po. Same sa akin, clear na rin mga xray ko but may nakita pa rin sila. Dineclare ko din nman ang akin para d nila ma suspect as active infection.

Hello Nurse Germz! Thanks for making this video and hope to get some insights about my current situation. I'm an applicant for NZ and had to have sputum last July 13-15. I got my smear results last July 20 and it was negative! Doctor explained that there's minor infiltrates seen in my chest xray but it could just be scarring but I still need to wait for 6-8 weeks for the culture results. I was given a slip that says to come back on Sept 12. Today I received an email from SLEC informing me that my sputum culture MTB results are now available and I can come on Sept 1st. Of course I was feeling anxious coz I've read somewhere that you don't want it to be earlier than the original schedule. The only saving grace for my panic attack is that IT WAS NOT A CALL, just an email. So I decided to call the number in the email and a certain Lisa answered the local for NZ Panel. I called just to get a feel..and asked if I need to reschedule if ever I have work on Sept 1, when is the deadline for me to inform them. Sabi sakin 3 days prior and dapat either on a Tuesday or Thursday lang coz yun ang availability ng Pulmo nila. So I asked her to check my name and records if ok lang ako na later than Sept 1 (it's my way to gauge if urgent ba or what) and she asked me to wait as she will check and when she returned sa line sabi niya, ok lang naman daw kung later than that basta inform Lang sila 3 days prior to September 1st. Which tells me NEGATIVE ako coz dapat if ever hindi dapat nila patagalin. Right? What do you think po? 😁🙏❤️

Nope. as long as you’ve given the medical certificate that reflects everything including the medication, wala na po pangambahn. Waiting in vain lang talaga po. Scar lang po nakita nila and they just had to follow their protocol pagmay makita ng something sa xray and so does us, follow lang ang kanilang 2 month protocol for that.

Then on the 3rd day ng collection august 24 bngyan po siya ng paper na balik sila august 30. And yung mga pinsan ko po hindi sila Bngyan ng ganon notice. Positive result po ba meaning non? Yup. It's also in my video that if you haven't received any call during th 6th week of waiting, it's good as safe so if SLEC, themselves, informed you that the result is negative then, that's the best thing to happen since it's a week earlier. Start requesting now for reschedule interview.

Sa previous po ba yan ang negative sputum mo? Kung may makita ang slec sa xray nila that falls under the criteria for TB, sputum po ulit. Regardless of your previous xray results and sputum, babase nila kung ano makita sa current slec xray.

Is this USEM interview? Usually interview is cancelled if subject to sputum since a medical exam is required for interview.

As I’ve mentioned sa video, ang SLEC lang talaga makapagsasabi. They base it from their xray result and if there is anything they found that is a criteria for sputum, you will undergo sputum. Sa mga may prev diagnosis, prepare ahead nlng. I had a prev diagnosis too.

Nope. That’s too long. You just need to spit on the collection tube to reach a particle mL and you’re done.But lining up and waiting for turn takes time.

There is a 2mm nodular opacity identified in right lower zone maybe an old healed granuloma. Rest of the lung fields appear clear. (This is subject for sputum test?)

@alviebasanez9683 yes and nope. Yes it will expire after a year only if wala kang ginagawa or pibabayaan mo sya. Once mabigyan ka ng ID, nagmedical ka. Ang medical expiration na ang babasehan which is 6months. So if na sputum plus nagpositive, that’s 2months waiting for sputum result plus 6 months for treatment so expectedly lampas expiration, medical ka lang again and you will have another new expiration. Pero not 100% sure ako. Better reply sa mga comments dito na nagpositive kung ano nangyari sa kanila.

Had the Same scenario but still got sputum. I’ve discussed this about their criteria and if any makikita nila, automatic na po so accept nlng and make use of the waiting period.

I have a 0.9cm nodule on my left lung for 16 years already, and no growth has been seen. Xray results still the same from
2006-2022. I applied for NZ RV recently and of course As expected my xray result came with abnormal findings. I was referred to SLEC for Sputum test this coming Sept 12-14. I am hesitant if I am able to produce sputum since I don’t cough a lot. Do we have a steaming device to induce coughing? Also, I believe that what I have is just scarring from a very old lung infection, do I still need a sputum test instead of a ctscan? I hope you can answer my questions. TIA
Ok lang po laway. Just show them na you’re exerting effort para d na need magrepeat the next day. No steaming device, preparation is your discretion na po.
You click this timestamp 1:17 to see the form that contains the ff abnormalities they check on your xray. Nagfofollow rin po sila ng protocol so, we have nothing to do but follow as well.
The advantage is you know it’s just scarring so, you’re assured that negative ang result non. The only downside is, you just have to undergo the excruciating agony of waiting.

Depende po sa inu. Ang susundin po nila ay ang xray pa rin nila. Kung anong anonalya makita nila, for sputum po. Same sa akin, clear na rin mga xray ko but may nakita pa rin sila. Dineclare ko din nman ang akin para d nila ma suspect as active infection.

Hello Nurse Germz! Thanks for making this video and hope to get some insights about my current situation. I'm an applicant for NZ and had to have sputum last July 13-15. I got my smear results last July 20 and it was negative! Doctor explained that there's minor infiltrates seen in my chest xray but it could just be scarring but I still need to wait for 6-8 weeks for the culture results. I was given a slip that says to come back on Sept 12. Today I received an email from SLEC informing me that my sputum culture MTB results are now available and I can come on Sept 1st. Of course I was feeling anxious coz I've read somewhere that you don't want it to be earlier than the original schedule. The only saving grace for my panic attack is that IT WAS NOT A CALL, just an email. So I decided to call the number in the email and a certain Lisa answered the local for NZ Panel. I called just to get a feel..and asked if I need to reschedule if ever I have work on Sept 1, when is the deadline for me to inform them. Sabi sakin 3 days prior and dapat either on a Tuesday or Thursday lang coz yun ang availability ng Pulmo nila. So I asked her to check my name and records if ok lang ako na later than Sept 1 (it's my way to gauge if urgent ba or what) and she asked me to wait as she will check and when she returned sa line sabi niya, ok lang naman daw kung later than that basta inform Lang sila 3 days prior to September 1st. Which tells me NEGATIVE ako coz dapat if ever hindi dapat nila patagalin. Right? What do you think po? 😁🙏❤️
Yup as long as sila mismo na inform na meron ng result. Reliable po yan.
@@Nursegermz you think po ba na strong chance parin na negative kahit earlier than expected ko po? i am 35 years old and very healthy and don't smoke. i don't feel a thing..and parang walang sense of urgency sa side ni SLEC when I called to check.

Ang SLEC lang po makpagsasabi kung under sputum ka gamit xray machine nila. Tsaka mo lang malaman once you under medical exam sa kanila.

hello ma'am may i ask a question po regarding po sa sputum ,nag declare po ako sa nurse that i had previous history po then nag undergone po ako ng medication way back 2020 , Ma'am is it possible po ba na mag papositive pa po ba yong culture results po even though nag gamutan na? thank you
Nope. as long as you’ve given the medical certificate that reflects everything including the medication, wala na po pangambahn. Waiting in vain lang talaga po. Scar lang po nakita nila and they just had to follow their protocol pagmay makita ng something sa xray and so does us, follow lang ang kanilang 2 month protocol for that.

Pwede sya since it’s more than 3months old na. Anything newer, d tinatanggap nila.

Hello po sana mapansin may ask lang po ako, what if yung tito ko and anak nya dalawa mag undergo sputum august 22-24. Then on the 3rd day ng collection august 24 bngyan po siya ng paper na balik sila august 30. And yung mga pinsan ko po hindi sila

@@Nursegermz hindi po sinabi e basta bngyan lang po nila ng white paper na august 30 need bumalik. Pero yung dalawang anak nya po sinabi lang wait sila ng 2 mos pero wala po sila nung white paper na pinapabalik ng august 30.

Hi nurse hope you can help me po. Nag sputum test po ako nung May 11-13 then nung May 18 bumalik ako for pulmonary evaluation and yung result ay negative. Pero sabi nila i need to wait po ng 6-8 weeks para makitang negative talaga yung culture test and babalik ako ng July 11.... Then now July 1 they called me earlier and informed me na may result na yung culture test and mas pinabalik ako ng maaga which July 7. Medyo anxious lang po ako. In your own opinion niyo po tingin niyo po okay naman po ang result? It's been 7 weeks po nung huling sputum test ko po. Hope you can help me po. Salamat and God Bless
Yup. It's also in my video that if you haven't received any call during th 6th week of waiting, it's good as safe so if SLEC, themselves, informed you that the result is negative then, that's the best thing to happen since it's a week earlier. Start requesting now for reschedule interview.

Additional waiting time lang. May assurance nman na hindi mycobacterium ang bacteria so sure na negative. Dagdag waiting time lang.

Sa previous po ba yan ang negative sputum mo? Kung may makita ang slec sa xray nila that falls under the criteria for TB, sputum po ulit. Regardless of your previous xray results and sputum, babase nila kung ano makita sa current slec xray.
