I believe the Amy Rose you wanted to buy ended up in Sweden. She is now for sale there but they are asking 1.4 MSEK which is a bit much. The Northwind is my fav though. Really like the Oceanis 44 but it makes noises everywhere you walk. Cant have that.
The North Wind was really nice. I know someone who raised the saloon on their boat and it was beautiful after that! But as I said, you would expect more room from a 47 foot.
7:35 Sounded like your friend in the background found something interesting :) I have always liked big solid boats, so the North Wind would be the winner. Although, the Colvic Victor might be a bit more reasonable in size and maintenance, and still a great boat.
The Colvic Victor was really nice. That would have been my first choice. The Carter would scare me as well. If all that teak was screwed through the deck, there would be many, many opportunities for leaks. Good luck with your search.
Yes, I agree with that. However, the Carter did have many advantages as well with hydraulic swing keel and all sails operated by electric winches or hydraulic furlers, and none of the others could compare with the Carter's saloon.
Then, you could learn to TIG weld, rip the teak off, and weld up each of the holes. Would take a little while, but it would be a skill you could add to your CV. :-) It did have potential. What was up with what looked like missing port lights on the aft of the cabin? It looked like they were totally gone. Nevermind - just watched again and they appear to be open storage. You never know, maybe the broker will call some day soon when the storage fees, insurance, etc. gets too expensive for the owner and they are motivated to sell it.
Did the call girl take off when she found out you were broke and could only afford a rough old mono ,I love your utube,it’s filled a few hrs in,you put this stuff up for free,I love it
I totally agree! Problem was that some of these repairs could be hidden traps of problems. As the teak was screwed in the aluminium it could be a lot of work involved.
Devis I love a few things about that boat, but the saloon I do not like. With this boat there was some maintenance issues like the teak deck etc and the price did not match what needed to be done with it.
The eclipse 33 is made from the english company called MOODY not the french Jeanneau... at least do a google search before you think about buying a boat

Best of luck for your search! We just found our boat and are super excited. Subscribed.
Thank you! Then you will see in 24 hours that the search is over :)
Hope you enjoy your new boat as I do mine!
Nice video! To complete the information you should give the different prices, I think.
Rodolfo D'Andreis Thank you! Prices are listed in the video description below
North Wind !!!!! I've said it before. I really like boat shopping episodes. ⚓⚓⚓

He discovered the big owners cabin with the king size bed :)
Great showing off the boats.. the big aluminium one was nice.....maybe also you could put prices in, would be interesting to see, what do you think..?
Yes, I should have. I will leave them in the description as it is a little too late to put them in the video. Thanks!

I think I do prefer they don't call. That would be annoying now that I spent the money on another boat :D
Thumbs up, nice video buddy.
Nice video, I subscribed and thumbed you up too... I liked the Jeanneau... thanks and best from HKG
Than you!
Yes, the Jeanneau was super nice if it is big enough for your needs!

how flattering and condescending in the same sentence :)
Your choice in sport coat leaves me wondering.
John Tripp :)
Have a look at a van der Stad Norman 40 deck saloon Dutch desigener, i think you like them
Thank you for the tip!
i like the nordship 40ds but you didnt have any in the video
That is right, I never looked at them as they are not available within my financial limits :(
came across your channel today and watched all your video i enjoyed watch them keep up the good work
Thank you! :)
Ooh, I love that Carter 45! Too bad about all the repairs it would need though.

The jeanneu will be excellent single handler
The problem Beneteau Oceanis 44 is?

Posible too get a link on the alu boat if its still up for sale?
I believe it is sold, but I found a link to a sister ship sold by the same broker www.devalk.nl/en/yachtbrokerage/52167/CARTER-45-ALU.html

You are right, I mixed up the model names. It is not an eclipse, it is a Jeanneau Espace
For me the Jeanneau :)
But then I plan on sailing single
If you are solo and don't carry too much gear, then that would be a great boat at a fair price. Only trouble is they are few and far between.
thx, I like your videos, but not too keen on sitting through the extended 90 second intro. every time
Thank you! Yes, I am aware it is a little too long. I am trying to have a new song made for me that is shorter, so please be patient with me :)
Me neither, but found out that I can skip it
