Rocketbook now also sell little "corner stickers" that you put onto your whiteboard so that your whiteboard is now essentially a rocketbook too and it works well with their app. The stickers are actually some sort of micro-sticky material, so they're easy to put on and take off many many times with no residual stickyness. The great thing is, that you can place the stickers where ever you want, so you can scan small individual sections of the whiteboard, as per your desire.
Dude! You need to look up a British comedy call “Only Fools and Horses” all cockney slang and other London based terminology will be fully explained and you’ll be laughing all the way up the apples and pears! Enjoy bruvvva!
Seems like Evernote invested quite some money in their spokesmen on RUclips. Especially after it turned out that some major improvements are not to be expected any time soon ...
Keep Productive my dear Francesco, thanks for answering my seemingly impolite comment. Please be assured that i love your videos and absolutely appreciate your efforts to increase our productivity and effectivity. Keep up the good work. I completely understand that RUclipsrs want and need to make a living with their content and that is fine of course. But this one with the other one (3 - 4 months behind plans)... interesting coincidence ;-)
Your second comment is even worse :)) You should watch Dotto Tech’s older videos (maybe since 2016) and you’ll know that he’s pretty objective with his app reviews. He’s even switched between OneNote to Evernote from time to time. It’s good to still see RUclips videos on Evernote even though it’s not doing so well these couple of years. Just be happy there’s content for everyone.
They’ve formalised a lot of experiences in the back ground and new editor is snappier, which lays down some nice turf for future updates. But that being said, development does need to speed up, no doubt. Thanks for your thought Emm as always! Francesco 😊
Keep Productive thank you for your thanks 😇 I expressed a more complete thought in your companion review of Ian’s blog. FWIW, I have worked in high tech in Silicon Valley for over 35 years. It turns out that I live 15 minutes from the Evernote HQ and drive by it regularly. Having been an Evernote user since 2009, I feel like I’m part of the family. My main complaint today is that both with Ian and with the previous CEO, the main visible thing we see is “Be patient, we’re working on making things better.” But there is nothing truly inspiring coming out of that shop. I’ve seen other Silicon Valley turn-around and I’ve seen many that have become complacent and have wound up sinking of their own weight. I used to work at HP during the really fun years in the 1980s and 1990s and now they are a blubbering giant. Evernote feels kind of like Microsoft before Satya Nadella took over. Once his leadership took root, Microsoft became a different company almost overnight. You could feel it the way they embraced non-Windows platforms. You could feel a change by the way they changed the colors and look of Office software. Nothing super-substantive at first but you could just feel the fresh air. I have to disagree with you about the editor. I think it is pedestrian. What is so special about it? I haven’t sensed a big change in the mobile apps. I appreciate that they are moving their databases to what is probably a faster and cheaper platform, but as I said in the other message there is zero sizzle. My Windows version is UGLY. It looks like a 10 year-old app. Maybe in two years we’ll look back and say we’re glad we stayed with Evernote. But today there are so many people who want something better. I wish they could deliver it.
*Loved this?! 💚*

My top Evernote tool was the one I used to transfer from Evernote to Notion.
Name?
@@waregle82 Mike.
I have a love-hate relationship with Evernote. I'm back in love.
What are the details of that notebook he mentioned? Can't quite remember what it's called and it looks interesting!
Head to getrocketbook.co.uk/products/everlast-rocketbook Toran :-)
I wish Evernote would make a way to write directly into the app. Then it would be perfect.

Scannable is only for iOS available. And it is not working for new business accounts.

This was filmed 3 weeks before the statement - so maybe that context will help.
Francesco 😊

What corner has Evernote turned? What is really new? Behind the scenes notwithstanding, is anything different since their new CEO started?
