- This week I finally rescue my nail salon dresser! It has been waiting for me for MONTHS and I finally remake the furniture to upgrade her space. This one was kept simple but beautiful and elegant. I hope you enjoy the video.

Love it! I use a heat gun to remove veneer from my furniture projects. Just keep it moving so it doesn't burn.

Yes! ( totally unfinished 😂) But this is what Amy visualized for her salon and I once I saw it in there I really loved it.

I know you would have loved to go crazy with gold leaf and shading with your beloved dark wax over a dramatic colour. The work you put in to all the prep work … without the ‘fun pArt’ for you was truly a labour of love ❤

Very subtle for Kacha. Would’ve guessed blended pinks as a color palette based on the wall mural.
Agree and also given it little more depth. It's not really what we thought it would turn out to be. For a nail salon maybe little more accent pieces like transfer or two 🤷♀️

And it might look nicer in the end to patch large areas with veneer, rather than filler. That usually cracks after a while.

Hi Kasha, I’ve been watching you for years and I am ALWAYS IN AMAZEMENT when I see how beautiful make the furniture turn out . The use of molds and beautiful rice papers and tissues along with your creative ideas makes you want to paint Everything . You are one of a kind artist for sure , I absolutely LOVE your technique and inspire me in such incredibles ways , and want to say you are MY Mentor 😊 .I used to redo furniture myself years ago and after my brothers passing 6 years ago along with my mother following this past June, I’ve decided to watch you again and get some of your energy. Now Because of you, I am going to begin redoing my kitchen cabinets using some of your techniques to completing . Once I finish , I will send a photo of the end product and hopefully serving you proud . I would love to know where you purchased your sander with the hose attached, that would have been a much easy task on my part instead of sanding by hand 🙏🏼🤦♀️
That's a Surf Prep sander and I wish I could get one! It's only available in North America. I live in Ireland. Everything I see it I feel jealous!

Hi Katcha have you ever tried a hot iron on veneer to reactivate the original glue? I believe it comes off easier.

Good job as always Katcha. I see you work very hard on your furniture as I do. The prep work is just as important as how much we beautify the piece of furniture or what ever we are working on.
If it had some small golden prints it would stand out more!

Now that you completed the piece is there anything that crossed your mind after the fact that would make removing old paint easier? I have two beautiful night stands that I’ve stared at for a year cuz yes I know it’s gonna be a lot of work.
