  • Gautam Narayan, a graduate student in Dr. Eitan Schechtman‘s lab, received the 2024 John W. Haycock Award. This video features a two-minute elevator pitch about his research, which he presented during the 2024 CNLM Award Ceremony on May 9, 2024 at the Irvine Improv.
    Narayan’s talk is titled, “Making scents of memory reactivation.”
    The UC Irvine Center for the Neurobiology of Learning (CNLM) offers awards to exceptional postdoctoral researchers, graduate trainees, undergraduate students, and Faculty Fellows.
    CNLM awards are intended to recognize excellence not only in research but also in service and commitment to the CNLM mission and core values. Trainee recipients were presented with a plaque and a $1,000 stipend. For more information visit, cnlm.uci.edu/awards.
