Hi Guys, I noticed Aston GT4 Race car, I said 160k but it should be 60k for these cars now! 18mins in - Thanks for your support
Love the Mk1, will be a future classic for sure 👌🏼
Not a surprise. Perfect multilink suspension in a compact car. A great step from Ford in '98.
My piece is a '02 Turnier, with a nervous 1.8 Zetec petrol engine. I love it. After 200k miles, without any problems. Affordable spare part, pleasure to maintain, pleasure to drive. Keeper.
Hi Richard well put together video I was going to buy one of these a few months ago but missed out on it
Really enjoying my mk1 rs focus :) went all the way from south Germany to UK to get it mapped and see ford fair. Such a drivers car, pulls like crazy und gives you a fun and enjoyfull drive every time. The mk2 rs we also got is more a straight line power cruiser, buts its the mk1 that is nimble, agile and angry :D
Another great video. Always wanted an Escort Cosworth (whale-tale) would be very envious if you ever got one of those. Keep the vids going... interesting to hear you talk about these cars.
Great video! Hopefully see some more of your car in some future videos!
Great video. I've owned my 440bhp MK1 FRS since 2007. Bought it standard and have modded it over the past 10 years. Love it!
That is awesome!
@@Challengetheroad thanks. It certainly is an animal. It is live mapped, so no torque steer and a lovely boost curve.
Great review Richard, I love the MK1 RS ,I have just bought one today..low mileage 1 owner car. I cant stop smiling !
Thank you Martin, brilliant car and fantastic looking 👍
Great ideas thank you
Great video I bought one last year which has just sat in the garage. Truthfully it is an investment piece under 30k miles with two previous owners. Going to maintain it and polish it and unfortunately thats about it. Wrong or right but I got one 😂
Such a great car and a Ford RS legend. The mk2 Focus RS is awesome as well, but the mk3 just kinda looks and feels dull. The Ford RS sparkle is somehow lacking completely.
Couldn't agree more!
Lovely 😊🔥
Nice Video!!! Which video did you used at the ending with Colin Mcrae? Can i find this video ? THX
Great video man! It is possible for next driving videos to fix a camera on the pedalbox to film your footwork and to watch your driving skills please? :)
Thank you - Will add this to a video soon 👍
@@Challengetheroad Great, thank you very much guys! :D
After the escort cosworth it’s my favourite thanks for the vid 👍
Thanks for watching 😁
Great video, always loved the mk1 rs focus, like u say , great lines and shape. I've got a st170 that I'm restoring absolutely love it. I'm also interested to know what Impreza rally car u have .
Love the st170 too! We have Subaru WRC s5 1999 car - been a year of restoration and now longer with lockdown. Cannot wait show you all
@@richardgroves9891 ooh now this I can’t wait to see .
I sold my s2 escort rs turbo to buy one of these in 2017..so glad I did I only payed 10k the car only had 69k on it and has next to no rust. I reckon mine has shot up at least by £4K...great car love it to bits
That was a good buy Russ at 10k 👍 only going up from here on!
Love them! now I need a lottery win.
i so want one when im older. im only 17 now and when i am old enough with enough money it is my dream to own one of these in good condition stock. Thanks for posting.
Awesome, thanks Ellis - chase your dream! ☺️
Amazing
Had my focus rs 14 yrs this yr Sabre stage 2 335bhp 😎😎
I plan on bringing one here to the US as soon as it's legal to do so
Agreed with all, but a CSL manual conversion will ruim the value in the long term, cars MUST stay OEM if they want to become classics.
"Caution, water splash" 😜
Even a bog standard MK1 Focus is increasing in value. So the RS will surely go through the roof soon!
If I had a bigger/double garage, I’d definitely be looking to add a Mk1 RS Focus to my Mk2... & if I was able/had the space, I would love a clean original E39 M5 as well..👌🏼
Really like the Mk2 rs focus but never driven one yet, I had an e39 M5 a long time ago what a great car!
I personally think the Mk2 Focus Rs is the most outrageous styling wise since the Escort Cosworth/Sierra Rs500. Maybe the Series 1 Rs Turbo. I believe this will go up well but the mk1 will be bridesmaid to the Mk2 in the future.
I can see the Mk2 taking off like the Escorts Cosworth has within the next 15 years.
Love the MK2 styling too, hopefully be able to get one on the channel soon!
I've had my Mk1 RS for 9 years now.
Such a great looking car! free driving too
Hi mate I have a stock mk2 focus rs with 77000 miles love every time I have driven it, there are some people telling me to sell it because I'm loosing money, The thing is i really love driving it I've been to France, Spain, Portugal, and I just keep driving it it drives well change oil twice a year cambelt as been changed only last year, and there is no noises and drives really good. Whats you opinion?
You only lose money if you sell it - love that mark 2 shape keep enjoying it!
@@Challengetheroad thank you very much, this is what I need proper advice from a professional thank you.
