Suspension Bridge to Castle Ruins - Highline 179, Reutte Austria 4K

- Close to Baravia, experience a spine-tingling stroll across one of the worlds longest pedestrian suspension bridge - Highline 179 near Reutte, in this 4K Austria travel video. It also provides access to historic castle ruins on a mountain, in a spectacular panoramic setting. When built in 2014, Highline 179 footbridge held the record as the worlds longest of its type. The ruins of Ehrenberg Castle on the top of the mountain are a legacy to the historic trade route it controlled through this mountain pass - a route dating back to Roman times connecting the Mediterranean to northern Europe. Yeah, is great. On same day, and not too far away, we did the cable car up Zugspitze mountain (Germany) - that is a great video if you havn't seen it yet. We stayed around Fussen (Germany), really close to the Austrian border, with a couple great castles to see in the area. Thanks for watching and glad you liked it! 😀👍

We saw the bridge in the morning, and after that we drove 45 mins to ride the cable car up Zugspitze mountain (another great video with amazing views). Your wonderful comment is well appreciated 😀. That is at a toe tingling height for the bridge, we have walked the Capilano suspension bridge in B.C. and thought that was high enough! Beautiful video and production, your maps are wonderful. Best of luck with your channel.

Hi there! Yea, the bridge was wonderful. You also need to watch the Cable Car up Zugspitze mountain if you haven't already - amazing views above the clouds - taken on the same day. Both locations were fairly close to each other 😀. Then there is the Kauai Doors-Off Helicopter Flight - truly awesome 😀 - probably my favorite. I do want a drone! Lol. I am so busy now, with my channel, and my wife and I bought a camper van and starting to do some travel locally, and I don't have as much time to edit videos like I did before. My plan is to probably get a drone next year. I know I would need to commit some good time to it. I also had just replaced my camcorder last March as my old one died 😀 (white screen of death - Lol). But I will get one, just not right away. Take care my friend, and sorry for this long reply 👍

Just had to visit again and saw this one jump out at me. Very impressive. I'm certain that creates a sensation or two walking across it. The castle sure does have an epic vantage point from there - a lot of activity there over the centuries. You have a good voice for narration. Carries us through nicely. Mark
