Great review man! I have been looking forward to this for a while now. I am glad to hear that I wasn't the only one staring at each panel for long periods of time. Every panel in this book is just overflowing with such rich imagery and details. I wonder how many people noticed all the watchmen references in the background. I know you saw it Chad but in case anyone else missed it, Rorschach and the book "under the hood" pop up in the background of some panels every now and then.
I don't want to say that the comic series and show "Jupiter's Legacy" ripped this story off because I know it sort of did it's own thing but it really seems like Mark Millar reused Kingdom Come's premise for Jupiter's Legacy.

Kingdom Come, the first DC Comic I read, maybe not the best way to start reading DC ('cause there were a lot of references I didn't get the first time), but still my favorite comic. Thanks for the review!! And, what would you think if one day DC and Warner announce that they are going to adapt Kingdom Come to a live-action or animated film/series?
An adaptation would be sweet, we've seen elements of it transcribed to the DCAU and the Snyderverse. I've gotta say however, I would much prefer a more upbeat DC story before they jump into something gritty. But if they're going to to do a gritty movie, Kingdom Come would be perfect
