Another great episode, always enjoy these! 🤗 I love how you applied the skill tree into the story and the careful approach that fits his character, so he won't get into fights blindly.
@@SuperToastytoast thank you so much! I do feel like these types of videos are super niche. Most roleplay playthroughs are played in real time which can either be extremely impressive or feel forced with too much dialogue. I really enjoy making this type of content so I’m just as excited to see where this goes 😊
Much like the last episode, this was really well done! Can't wait to see where the story goes from here. I've never been spotted by the guards when stealing the ring, interested to see if Dar Kesh runs away or not. I'd also say my only criticism is that Dar Kesh doesn't speak in the third person. Unless I'm misremembering, he grew up in Elsweyr. So he should speak in the third person. However that is not a big deal, nor a slight on the video itself. As it doesn't hurt the story and is a small thing. I mean... I didn't even notice until like 14 minutes into the video.
@@ThatNobleWarden appreciate the feedback! Yeah I knew going into this that I had to make the call as to whether or I was going speak in the third person but I figured talking in first person was more friendly to the casual viewer and that talking in third consistently might be distracting from the story itself. I probably should have had Dar Kesh and his family reside in Cyrodil but oh well 😆 Thank you for going easy on me. Glad you enjoyed it!
@@Prophet_of_Colour I did NOT know this. I’m quite new to a lot of the game actually. I feel like I’ve barely seen most of the game map. It’s the main reason why I chose to do the Crown of Barenziah. I wanted to be forced to explore all of Skyrim and I don’t know the exact locations of each gem so this will be quite the adventure for me.
Loving this series already. Also may i reccomend the mod kahjiit speak? Changes the dialogue options sligthy, so it looks more like a kahjiit saying it
The first two episodes have been quite good, I really feel invested in Dar'Kesh's journey and I'm genuinely excited to see what happens next. It's got me wondering how long these videos take to make; the first episode was released ~3 months ago from the time I'm writing this, and I'm wondering if the process to make the videos is super involved, or if its just finding enough spare time to set aside to make and edit them. Another thing I'm wondering is if you have a specific build or playstyle in mind for Dar'Kesh, considering we saw him put his first perk point into illusion. I personally would think a Thief would invest in stealth, lockpicking, or pickpocketing first, so it's got me curious if there's a specific stat spread you're going with for him.
@@Jamez229 appreciate the feedback! So really if I had no family or job I could probably knock these videos out in a couple of days. It’s simplistic because I don’t have this series already scripted. It’s written as I play which makes it unpredictable for both the viewer and myself. With that said, a lot has been going on in my life recently and I’m trying to work through it all. It’s been rough. So I’m trying to get back to this series but life has me by the throat so to speak lol. As for the development of Dar’Kesh, I just wanted a goal for him and principles to live by. You’ll notice that instead of stealth killing the woman guarding the cave, he avoided entering altogether knowing it would have involved killing individuals. The though behind illusion is to be as much of a pacifist as possible and Dar’Kesh’s goal is to get in an out without any witnesses or casualties. He’s is after all doing this to save his family and not personal gain. I’m also trying to play this as if it were me doing this. I’d avoid combat at all cost knowing that any encounter could end my life and risk the future of my family. Really hope I can get back to this series.

Great video as always! Been following along since your first Skyrim videos and it's awesome to see you back making content again

Yay! Made my night! By the way, does anybody else think he sounds a little bit like Cassian Andor/Diego Luna?

You probably knew, but buying that bag put you below 200 gold, and Bryn will act like you're filthy stinking rich if you have over 200 gold.
