I'll be reviewing a number of motherboards for AM5 and here is the 1st one I got my hands on. The MSI MEG X670E ACE and it's pretty much one of the best AM5 motherboards money can buy, especially without looking like an RGB Disco drinking Unicorn liquid Pop-Rocks while listening to The Village People (I actually like the Village People but still...) @MSI Gaming

Kidding ofc. Very good presentation! I saw you've also done a bunch of videos with a build around this mobo, gonna watch them too. They a pretty rare around youtube, probably because of it's price many content creators steer clear of it.
Found a very good deal on this mobo a few days ago, ordered it and waiting for it to arrive in about 3 weeks (yeah... intercontinental distance). So for right now I'm trying to gather as much info about it as possible.

Hi im a bit new around here, and I have a couple questions regarding this motherboard as Im planning on upgrading to AM5 soon. Would I be able to fill up all 3 pcie slots and 3 nvme slots? I do a lot of virtualization and productivity, so I've been looking for a motherboard that will have enough lanes for the tasks that I do. Nonetheless, great review and I've been liking your content so far!
I've been reviewing a lot of boards and don't have this manual right in front of me, but if you go to the MSI website you can download it and it will show you any lane limitations. I had it fairly populated w/ no issues for my uses.

The first cable was a corsair rgb extension cable. The second cable is to plug in all the front headers top make it easier to hook to the motherboard,, ie hdd, power, reset, etc

I'm sure you've probably gone over this, but what would you recommend for someone who just games? Is upgrading to the ddr5 system worth it right away?

Interesting, if expensive, motherboard, thanks for the headsup. I'm interested in a PCIe lane configuration like this on AM5 (all coming from CPU).
Do you know/can you find out if that bottom PCIe 5 x4 slot can take a GPU? It's Gen 5 x4, that's equivalent to Gen 4 x8 / Gen 3 x 16. Most games are not even close to maxing a Gen 3 x16 GPU, let alone Gen 5 x16. This is to free up the primary PCIe 5 x16 slot for other functionality (e.g. 4 nvme SSD's rather than a max of 2 offered by the included expander card).
What's your thoughts on this compared to your old TRX40 system - and the price you paid for that motherboard (and it's feature set) compared to this one?
