If you listen to "I'm with you" by Avril and "Cheers" after each other...they just make sense. Avril's song has this sad, isolated, lonely, emotional vibe; but if you listen to Riri's song, it's like a continuation of the song, but a moving on, moving forward, "it is what it is" kind of vibe.
