Umuthi twina one and only Wanja Asali, gracing our screens a second time. Wanja, a household name in the Kikuyu community joins us today to share her journey and how things have been since we last had her here.
Wanja, born and bred in Nderi, Sigona Ward, Kiambu County, who composes her own music, is formerly a gospel artist with a couple of albums with songs such as Kumenyana na Jesu. She got her fame through her first secular hit Kuchu Kuchu. Some of her songs are gasmokie, Wendo wa kuraya, kwiganithia and Kuchu Kuchu as mentioned above.
