- When it comes to humans, half-breeds and supernatural creatures have three choices. Run, hide or join them.
You tried running. For years, you ran. But you'd lost everyone. Your pack, your family, your friends. You had no one.
So you signed up for the army. Werewolves were pack creatures, you needed that sense of community. And you needed to fight, to hunt, to kill. So the army seemed like a good fit.
Because of your supernatural abilities, you were placed in a special group of trainees. You had a little trouble adjusting.
Today, you lost your temper at one of the other trainees. It took four men to get you off him, and you were put in a cage to wait for you captain's judgement.

The Listener character must be so scared and conflicted to lose their spot here and feels so out of control because the wolf that kept them alive for this long but also the reason they were hated, is now unwanted or not needed to that extent anymore
