I see people daily in the g-body groups talking about how 5-5.5"s of backspacing will fit no problem,i have been driving these g's since the late 80s and have never been able to put anything over 4.5"s without spacers, but those guys will argue with you until they are blue in the face that 5.5 will work no problems. glad to see others coming out and saying no it will not work! lol
also if you gotta roll those fenders, do it slowly and heat it up real good with the heat gun and go little at a time for sure! and dang you sure like the white vehicles don't you? lol

@TheSouthdownband yea 5.5 is ridiculous. Maybe in the rear but it would still be too close for comfort. No way they are running that upfront.
@@Dashsgarage with my 17x9s and a 245/45r17 i only have about 3/8-1/2" between my tire and frame in the rear and i am running a 4.5" bs
