The look on my face when the cracks formed must've been a sight to behold, I'd seen the joy mutant trick alot in hopeful, so Pumpkin wasn't anything special But Holeheads sudden appearence was really something spectacular
Oswald observing Akira after he became "The Hateful One" and then just telling Buddy to *finish him* gives me the chills, i can't help but feel that Oswald knows something about the mud that no one else does. His "i don't give a damn about your regrets, cope" type of reactions when you listen to the mudmen in Randolands, or how he warns Dustin to not talk with the "Seeing One" (The tall, masked guy who is sitting on some *mud* that you find in the Hernandez Crossroads) just reinforces my "theory"
Seeing the amount of substances in his nostalgia scene makes me think he went on a deep spiral himself. There's more to his tale if you tell his campfire story at the woods cave.
@@alex_0089 Thanks for the info about the campfire story, i didn't know that one Going back to the Nostalgia scene, if you interact a few times with the locked door in the kitchen it will let you open it, there's nothing of interest outside, but once you go back inside, the empty frame above the couch will now have a image i still haven't been able to make out what it' supposed to be... the part that haunts me the most is the mirror in the bathroom that quotes "a tired little girl stares back at you", the fact you also find some morphine and aspirins only makes it worse, i'm not sure if it's referring to Buddy herself, or someone else...
@@PequenoVividor I saw it as Oswald crying. I think the amount of drugs, the frame's reaction to going "outside" makes me think it's a depression spiral.
Oswald's story is so sad and messed up bros. It's implied his bf/husband ended up murdered after they had an argument and Oswald told him to leave. I mean I'm happy he was able to find happiness with Fantastic but also like wtf how
@SkeleHardNuggets huh, weird, maybe it has something to do with his affection stat? The one that rando has in the ending that determines of he robs, kills or burns vega
@@2Bit_2 im pretty sure this was just recorded on a newer version than the ones we played though, i played on nearly the earliest release and there wasnt even that dialogue where you hit them a little like how glowhead said "i thought we were pals!"
Only thing that confuses me in this game, and feels unfitting is how much Buddy cares for a bunch of strangers she never met before. Only like 1 dude did something nice for her by giving her a fucking stack of booze(can I have another one?)
I can see a few reasons: 1) The Taiga was pretty much the only place where she had the chance to live a somewhat peaceful life, access to food without any struggle, the opportunity to give into her artistic interests, meeting other kids around her age that would help her forget there' people that want to use her, and most of all... the Taiga is the place where she can be somebody else aside of "the girl from the poster" 2) Some sort of self-projection, the three judges constantly arguing about what doctrine their people should follow, probably reminded her of her uncles and Brad having different ideas of what her fate should be, hell, the Taiga being a "distraction" from all the madness going on in Olathe sort of makes a paralelism with Brad telling her how awful the world out there really is, she basically didn't want anyone else (specially the children) going thru that as well

Question: Is this the most healed Rando can be in the entire game? Are there more than two places for him to recover?
Robert really thinks he's Cyrus 😂😂😂💀💀
How'd you manage oswald to join the fight?
@SkeleHardNuggets he leaves your party when you enter Vegas land, and then joins you back when you're in a major fight.
@@2Bit_2 he didnt came back in my run though

Lisa's style is pretty hard to get used to, but some of the things in the game are very pretty to look at, espiecially the backgrounds.
then don't look at it, dum dum
