  • Here is a clip from a chat i had with british session great and former Elton John drummer Charlie Morgan, Charlie talks about his involvment in the development of the legendary Premier Signia range of drums and of course his custom made Versace Signia set up made for an Elton John Tour.

    I´m obssesed with that kit.
    It is great news to know that Charlie still got it.
    Hope to see a video of Charlie showing off the whole kit.

    really enjoyed this. Im an Irish drummer now in the states a long time. lived in Nashville for 5 years and big admirer of Charlie fine player and fellow. alway loved the Versace kit and the signs. great story.

    Ive just aquired a 12+14 signia toms in cherry wood and separately a 22 bass in the same finish. Im delighted

    Wow - I loved that kit - and had the poster too!
    Couldn't afford a signia kit as a teenager- I did have a mk1 projector in black wrap that was my main kit for nearly 20 years
    Then after a drumming hiatus- I put together my dream signia double bass drum kit in Topaz finish - ive just finished assembling another double bass kit from the originalnGenista line in turquoise
    I love Premier drums 😍

    Great video and info , ( Gretsch never made undersized shell , they were over sized but anyway ) well done on the interview

      I think he may of been thinking of sonor, they are slightly smaller as well.

    Why don't anyone start making these drums again? Everyone says they are fantastic, so there should be a market for them.
