Finally someone explains amplifier classes in a way I can understand. When someone can explain their art in a way for anyone to understand shows how masterful they are in that field. Kick ass products.
A plus vid brother. I remember my first Amp install back in 92 was a lil 90w autotek amp. I held on to it cuz a bud of mine said it was a 300 dollar Amp. That's when I learned about true power and quality over quantity wattage. These in a different league! 👍
Are those mid bass in mono mode? Like you said a 2 ch is driving 2 of 7 inch in bridge mode. Next how can you achieve proper time alignment in passive mid range and tweeters?
Tony is a genius. For those who think otherwise where's your world record power amp? You work for Rockford fosgate? You design some of the best SQ amps known to man?? Foh!! D'amore engineering!!
Think of this It wasn’t very long after this video he released his Clean D Class D amplifiers lol! Makes you wonder if he already figured it out and didn’t want to say at this time or if your question put him on the mission.
If he can put good quality nichicon and Panasonic capacitors inside his prototype amplifiers, he should've done the same thing inside his new e series class d amplifiers... Instead of using no name top cap Chinese capacitors.... I hope when Tony releases these class ab amps for mass market, he uses good caps like he did here...
Just an Idea but why are we still in the analog era? Your amps only have RCA inputs. No Optical or digital inputs. We should be running optical from head unit to dsp to amp. Not head unit to dsp and then RCA's from dsp to amps. Maybe have amps with built in dsp like JL audio or audio control.
Man idgaf how good they say those amps are saying nobody about to pay that much cash for that they know those parts didn’t cost that much they gotta be smoking something that ain’t from earth
People with money that do SQ will gladly hand over money....I have McIntosh MCC amplifiers and they cost quite a bit more but the sound is like a Tube Amplifier..very watm....
Hi-end audio, whether for home OR automobile, isn't for everyone. Those who can afford it and understand it's advantage and value have no problem paying the price.

That is the best explanation of A vs A/B vs D ive ever heard.
Best description on Amp classes I've heard in 15 years! - watch this, lookup output filter for Class D and call it done
I appreciate your feedback and comments.
The absolute best description of amplifier mode of operation ever told. Amazing.
Hey Tony.....it's Glenn from Stereo's for Less in Thousand Oaks. Damn Bro, I'm truly impressed with what you've accomplished!!!
I was always curious about the class a, ab, bd.. etc etc...
I'm digging that heatsink he used, very similar to a processor in a computer or HO LED

Awesome interview !
His a series is the best

Well that lesson was about twenty years over due for me.

What a stupid comment
Amps are critical to sound quality anyone who has tested as much as I knows
Where’d the freakin sound go brobro+[
Big Perm Big Worm
When I finally make it in life......You know, $300k/year income

If they weren't sold out, I would send a P.O. right now.
If only you knew how much engineering and work and time goes into hand making these amps, the parts might look cheap but they use high quality parts

@@fromdaddytoanya it’s only sold out cause they only made 25 😂😂😂
They look like my class A or AB amps ( Nelson Pass design ) I build for home just arranged in a car audio configuration. Cool I got to try that.
