I miss my life in Houston
I'm always curious what visitors come to see in Houston where I live, and I must say, your tour definitely did it justice. A lot of people never give detail or show much of what you can do other than to say here is a place, and here is a picture, but if I had never been here, I would be excited to come based on your video. Well done!
Thanks so much!!! We try to show case all the fun things to do when we visit each city. Glad you enjoyed our tour! 🙌❤️
Hello guys, Glad y’all came to Houston, Been to all those places & they are awesome! Watching from here from my hometown Houston!! =)
Same
Very interesting, & it's the first time I think of Houston from a touristic angle.
As someone who lives here in Houston, I’m very excited to see all the little things that I take for granted that are enjoyed by visitors! Makes me appreciate them more. Thanks for making this video and I am glad y’all had a great time in the city!
That's awesome! Glad you enjoyed the video.
Hello I am Salvadorian but living in Houston for 35 years and I love it 😍 next time come and visit the city of Katy, we have a water park 😊
Cool!
Wow! Such a jam packed video! I love the little details, brief shots of fish and caterpillars. Really generous film making! Thank you.
Beautiful city, with an interesting historical background and where you can have a lot of fun while shopping. You ladies are always so kind! Regards.
Thanks for the video. I've lived in HTX 4 yrs now and love it. There is so much to do. I am glad y'all enjoyed it.
I’m moving there! What are your favorite things to do/places to visit?
You took your film making to a new level with this video. High education value with all the museum visits.
If I were an elementary school teacher, I'd be showing this to my students. Very nice composite of edits & audio.
Thanks!

It’s funny because that central market is a small representation of how diverse Houston is. I love it! 🙌🏻

Wow very cool!! Love the aquarium!! Crazy to she how those stingrays get feed
Outside of potential hurricane issues or extreme Summer heat Houston is going to have alot to love !
Don't forget about the bugs traffic and crime.....
Having never been to Texas I found this fascinating! For the Natural Science museum alone I think I'll have to plan a weekend visit, and there's so much more! I was anxiously waiting to see a delicious Mexican or Tex-Mex lunch as you guys always have a knack for finding delicious food. Maybe in part 2. Thanks from Seattle!
Yeah! We’ll have to show you some delicious food in the upcoming Texas videos. We sure did eat well when we were there. 😋👍
The museum district is great, I love living here!
@@amberkelly8055 I can imagine!
Hi! Houston born and raised, and love good Tex-Mex! Just wanted tosuggest a few worthy restaurants for when you are in town. Ninfa's (original) is awesome. Also, Papoasitos is another Houston food treasure that has been around forever. Another fun one is Chuy's. The atmosphere is fun and funky. So many good places to choose from, but these are just the three I can name off the top of my head. Hope it helps. ❤
@@fquast74 Hey, thanks!

I remembered visiting Natural Museum to see Lucy. She was the 1st to be founded of Cromagnum person to be discovered. They rotate her throughout the world. She is a cross of an ape and human.
She went back to her native country now. Ethiopia. The last time I went, the next location for her is England. So seeing her is rare.
Hello, America is still a growing country and Houston is doing its best to get up their, anyway, Mexico, has done a big change in that country with the building of cars like the VW which has done very well through German engineerings , have a great time "Live for Life". Jerome from Florida
Good video!!!!
Great video!
Thanks !
Great video. The heritage center downtown moved those old houses from where they were and put them in that central location. I can remember them moving the old house of Reverend Jack Yates from where it was. Only notable Houstonians get their houses preserved there.
Thank you for visiting Houston ❤️ the greatest city in the world
Most welcome! We had such a great time discover Texas in general!
I admire the way you are raising your family. You always look so put together. Could you do a short vlog of your morning routine? Your haircare and makeup? Much love from the Sunshine Coast of BC Canada, Jennifer White 😊🤗❤
FYI, I have a cousin and his lovely wife, Paul and Gail that recently moved to Houston. They purchased a really lovely home for such a great price. Here in the lower mainland of BC would have cost them nearly a million dollars. They paid around $300,000. 5 bed 4 bath huge pool and lot. A steal of a deal!!
Lived in Houston for just over 16 years from 1963 to 1979!!! Hibury sure flooded a lot!!!
Nice! I still can't believe how huge the city is.
Yes, our Central market, can't live without it🇨🇱💕🙏
Love that store!!! So many options to choose from.
@@GrowingUpWithoutBorders that sums up Houston in general! There is a variety of things to do & choose from. So glad I moved here 20 yrs ago & still love living here! Happy you visited & enjoyed it too! God bless you and your family🙏💕🤗
Houston and Southeast Texas sure does flood a lot!!! Hurricane Harvey was a prime example!!!
Yeah that’s crazy!
Great city Houston.

Hi gooday mate ,iam from EL SALVADOR LIVING IN AUSTRALIA FOR 30 YEARS ,I LIKE YOUR VIDEOS .
That’s awesome! So glad you’re enjoying our videos!
Houston is my home town. I love the place. If you are serious about Texas, don't limit yourselves to just Houston. There are many great things about the other cities in Texas too, each with its own personality, niche, and uniqueness...
Yeah, we visited a few different areas while we were there.
When visiting Houston, be sure to visit the Houston Arboretum off Woodway in Memorial Park!!! You'll be glad you did!!!
Thanks for the recommendation. 🙌
Amazing film
Thanks! 🙏🏻💕
Mr Houston? General Sam Houston beat Santa Anna at the Battle of San Jacinto just outside town. He became President of the Republuc of Texas, then Senator and later Governor of the State of Texas. (He had been Governor of Tennessee when young.) As Governor he preached against Secession and was kicked out of office when Texas joined the CSA. Still a hero...
Looks like the City Pass covers many of our museums and amusements
HEB is a grocery chain beloved by Texans. Central Market is HEB's response to Whole Foods. Definitely a great place to bring visitors!

Imagine if we had teleportation units like on Star Trek - A lot of people would be teleporting over to that Houston supermarket to do their shopping.
Yeah...That would be the best!!! 😂😂😂
yes
Nice!!
Se ve suave Texas me gusto mucho ese comercial saludos desde México Tijuana Baja California la prima se parece a la hija chica.
I moved to H-Town in 2004, love every minute of it especially China Town on Bellaire, except the traffic part is a nightmare.

Awesome
Welcome to texas were everything is bigger and it’s funny i never saw houston my home town as suck a big place it’s always been normal to me.
For us it’s huge!!!
That supermarket was a-ma-zing. I have not been to Houston. There certainly is plenty to see and do.
Imagine having all that selection each time you go to the store. It would be nice but might take you forever trying to decide what type of apple you should buy. 😂😂
@@GrowingUpWithoutBorders Many years ago I read that Russian president Boris Yeltsin was in Houston once. While he had some free time time, he entered a small neighborhood grocery store and was surprised to see all the shelves full. it was then that he realized that a market economy works better than communism. So when he got back to Russia he started the process of privatization of the economy. I wonder what he would have thought if he went to that large supermarket.
I’m the employee @ 23:22 lol my buds at Lakewood just showed me this vlog.
That’s hilarious! Glad you saw the video and I hope you enjoy many more of our other ones too! 🙌🤩

Native Texan here from Fort Worth.
Houston is off the chain hot n humid.
You see the heat shimmer off grass....just like a mirage on desert sand...its that freaking hot. Midnight...is still insufferable hot.
Be warned.
Oh wow. We didn’t experience that when we were there. Sounds way too hot!
Beautiful place. Been through there a few times. .I was wondering if you are going to Waco to the Silos ?
We did yeah!
@@GrowingUpWithoutBordersThat is terrific. I want to go someday.
We’ll show it in one of our upcoming videos.

Yeah funny that you don’t think of a city this size named after someone. I’m sure you do miss it. Stay safe over in Georgia!
Where do you get the city passes from?
It was from www.citypass.com/houston

Well we certainly would enjoy your Central Market store. 😂😂
You look like Houston’s own Dominique Sachse!
I have never heard of her before but I just looked her up I can see that I used to wear my hair in a similar fashion. I’ll have to check out more of her videos.
More cheese sélection in Texas than the land of cheese where I am living France.

We used to live in FL in Kissimmee right near Disney.
Can you walk from the JW Marriott to all those places you went to?

R. E. America doesn’t have an official language so she can speak any language she wants
Nat’s Persona not to be that guy, but Texas’ official language is English. It honestly annoys me when people think USA doesn’t have an official language as a whole because it says it doesn’t have one at a federal level. Some states have English as the official language, the majority of them actually, including Florida & California.
R. E. Well you said America ..... ?
Bob Muller I thought Texas didn’t have an official language tho , when you look up California it says English is their official language but if you look up Texas it says it doesn’t have an official language
Nat’s Persona yeah you’re right actually, but yeah some states individually don’t have an official language like Texas, but other states do, so it’s not like the whole USA doesn’t have an official language just certain states like Texas.
Hola ✌🏻Como estais? 🙂
