hi @@LanasyOvillosinEnglish ❤ Two years later and i am still knitting this beautiful cardigan ❤ it is so beautiful ❤ thank you again for this wonderful pattern ❤
I loved this jacket and would like to make it for my niece. Can you please tell me the needle size, type of yarn and how much I would need for a size 2? Thanks
Beautiful jacket..but is there any information about the yarn .would have been and added bonus for our viewers to be able to have information for bigger sizes to..but this is such an adorable, stylish jacket
Do you have the same Patten in an adult size or can we ajust the size to an adult size love this pattern so much think I am going to try ajust it for an adult size
Hi, I'm going to make it. In the video and written instruction said that 23rd row is knit stitch, but mine is the purl stitch.. What should I do? 😅 Should I add one row to catch the knit stitch? 😅
I love this jacket, and I’d like to make it. I have a question. The instructions say the first and last stitch should be knit in each row, but in the video sometimes the first stitch is just slipped off. Which is it? Knit the first stitch or slip the first stitch? Thank you
One more comment. I found the measurements given in centimeters ( lengths ) more effective as opposed to follow the knitted lines . I had to count the lines each time to make it perfect, bit tedious.
Sometimes it is easier to follow a chart with measurements, others prefer a graphic with squares of all the pieces, and others the written pattern... :) Anyway, thank you for watching and your feedback!
@@katinwelly well I haven't finished it yet I have one sleeve to go but I continued following the video more than written instructions. Hope this helps 😀
@@beatricecraig2231 Thanks I just got to the cast on 36 stitches (row 36) and she's on a knit row and i'm on a purl so it's gone slightly wrong ;) I'm just adding a row here too, at least my nephew is tall and will have longer arms ;)
I picked up the stitches according to the video from both front sides 1stich and from the back side of neck 1 from the knot and 1 from the space between knots but it became just like frill of the frock on the back neck. I don't understand why? What i did wrong .I'm making an 8 years old size.
Hey, I´m making this one right now but I need help. I could not find this yarn in my local store so I bought Drops Nepal which seemed to be similar. But my sizing is all wrong , making size 4 but it looks like I´m making a baby sweater. What is the gauge for this pattern? Loving the sweater and I really want to make it for my child. Thank you
Hi! You can find the measurements for each size in the page of the pattern, at the botton part. Try to cast on the number of stitches to have the size of the sleeve :)
hey I´m following both the video and on your website and I cast on the right amount. My issue is the yarn that I´m using. Can only find drops Alaska online and I´m the type of person that needs to see and touch the yarn before I buy it. Can you recommend another yarn for me? Or let me know what the gauge it so I can try and find it myself? how many stitches and rows do you have 10cm by 10 cm. Maybe I just need to double up the yarn that I have. Thank you in advance
Hi there. I've made this sweater is size 2 and size 4 and they work perfectly. But something is wrong with the pattern for size 6. Could you please check this out. I tried to finish the second side and sleeve on my own but it doesn't look right. The measurements of the two sleeves are different. Thanks for your help Otherwise-I love this pattern!
Thanks for the beautiful pattern. I really appreciate your effort and generosity in sharing the pattern for free. However, no offense, I think there are quite a lot of errors in the written pattern.. For experienced knitter they will probably notice the errors and make adjustments themselves. For example, I was looking at the pattern for age of 6. The increase of the sleeve should be gradual and proportional. On the pattern, it says continue stockinette stitch for 2 rows on row 66 to 67 after the increase done on row 65. It sounds strange because there is an increase of 2 stitches every 6th row but all of a sudden it becomes only 2 rows between the increase.. And I looked at the other sleeve, it is not the same. So apparently there is an error either on the first sleeve or the 2nd sleeve. Similar errors appear in the pattern for different age as well.. It will be nice if you can go over the written pattern and see if you can point out the errors and correct them. Once again, your effort is much appreciated.
+La Ella I have started this project and noticed the errors when I was half way up the first sleeve. I then made corrections myself. I went over the whole pattern afterwards and found out more errors. To be honest there are a lot of mistakes in the written pattern for all sizes. I am now just improvising.. Hopefully it will turn out ok.. What size are you making?
+Sharon Lee sorry just saw the size you are making. I think increasing every 6th row makes sense so I continued doing that and it looks all right. Perhaps you can try. I haven't finished this project yet. If I do I know if my adjustments work fine and will keep posted.
Why dont you tell us how many stitches we should pick up on the fronts and the back so that we can be sure that we are on the right track. You only say pick up the stitches, pick up the stitches. Please mention the total counts of the stitches we should have at various stages, like total number of stitches on the needle should be after increasing on the first sleeve, and after decreasing on the second sleeve, and after picking up the stitches on the fronts and the back. It would keep us on the right path.
