I’m not against coaching- it helps - teachers are better, test series help and regular practise gives you an edge. I myself had joined Aasmani coaching - but this trend of making parents fear and excessive pressure right from 4/5/6th standard has to stop.
Let the child live and breathe - he is just 10 year old.
Those who get selected - study and prepare well in 11/12th.
What’s the point of coaching from 6th standard?
They are first creating a fear and then using it.
If used properly edtech is helpful - I have myself promoted two apps - they are useful if used in a right way- Flashprep - for making flashcards and another app for NCERT based MCQs called MemoNEET.
But this 6/7/8 - se coaching - it’s just extracting money from parents who fear for their child’s future and also putting unnecessary pressure on child.

Honestly i am a Byjus user for neet class 11 and 12 and i want to share my experience. At first glance it seems quite nice while studying in the app on tablet , watching those animations and all that stuff . But after a certain point you realise that you are not eligible to solve the problems of that concept . I realised it very late actually . When i watched videos of that same on concept on RUclips , i got that " yeh saale to chutiya kaat rahe hai yaar" , i mean they just read like whatever is given in textbook and literally dont tell any short cut or trick which is required for time saving in exam .
And the main thing is that they have not just distinguished the course and syllabus of JEE and NEET for chem and phy . It is common for both .
Kitna bhi bolo lekin time save karne keliye tricks lagti hai , tabhi selection hota hai .
I am not saying that it is totally a waste , but itna bhi achha nahi hai ke mein uske liye 50k spend karu.
Conclusion : don't recommend it to anyone for that price point. Usase achha to YT se padhle bhai !

    Truly said Dr. Aditya sir
Even I had purchased BY*U's for NEET coaching during the time I was in 11th
just cause at that point of time lockdown Laga Hua tha so offline classes weren't going on
their team had promised my parents to conduct 'ONLINE live classes' (just for one to one interaction between the student and teacher)
by this, we thought we must go for it!! , then we paid the amount- but when I started attending classes I was shocked to see that those weren't LIVE sessions at all and the only thing which was showing up was a pdf with an immersive reader reading the text.
and there was no one to take up my doubts in the class, WHAT'S THE POINT OF THIS?
after a month or so we had decided to submit a complaint against it for making FAKE PROMISES FOR
'LIVE SESSION' and asked them to refund money
and the reply that we got from their team was "SORRY WE CAN NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY and MADE A LOT OF OTHER EXCUSES'
and literally, the amount we had paid for the first month got WASTED. (it was 12k btw)

You are correct Dr. bhaiya ! I'm in eighth currently, and We applied for the test series and video lectures of Allen for eighth, last year. First I saw Byju's but I absolutely didn't like their way of communicating and also they don't give good modules too, so we canceled it from our list. Teachers are always good, but overall it's not good, frankly. Then we saw Allen's PNCF course and they are very light and good communicators, they don't call you and forcefully come to your home for a demo like Byju's 😅. The teachers are no doubt good and test series and lectures and live doubt sessions are there, they don't use animations, they just explain it very easily. I like it. And I like online coaching more than offline coaching, as I can self-study according to my schedule and don't waste my time - this is applicable only for foundation, not 11/12th. So, overall you don't need any coaching, but If you want, you can go for it, but choose wisely. And there's no need till 7th or 8th or even 10th, but if you want to study deeply, you can go for good materials.
The way you explain things is really good, I don't know but I like watching your videos even though I'm not in 11/12th or MBBS. 😀
And my parents never force me, they give me freedom to choose my career, so I have a different view after becoming a doctor, I personally want to become a doctor because I have a mission, I love to study human body and living organisms.

If the parents really are worried/concerned about the child then providing "Tuition" will be more beneficial.(especially in grade 6,7,8) [also because of very less complex concepts in those textbooks] As the home tutor will guide him personally letting him know where the child stuck and thus would truly know the child's potential , working on their weakness will ensure his better performances.
As per my experience if a child has strong base then he'll easily cope up.

Even though I'm done with Neet ug at least, I'm so glad I found this video. It was a much needed topic and I hope more and more people watch this! Definitely going to share it as much as I can!
My elder brother started coaching in Class 6th for NTSE (which used to happen in 8th tab) and then later, for JEE. I remember by the time he was in 10th grade, he was so stressed, he would hardly come out of his room and 12th mein he got into severe depression. My parents were 'disappointed' and it took time for them to understand him - that was a very low point in my family. I'm very lucky they let me make the choice. In fact, when I told them I wanted to join in class 11th, they repeatedly asked if I was sure, and to let them know the moment I feel like its getting too much. I've always been against tuitions too, especially if you're in a school where teachers actually do their job. If only kids listen to their teachers, more than half the work is done.
So please everyone, don't get kids into coaching. Teach them to be sincere in school and even if they aren't, it's no big deal. That time won't come back!
And honestly, don't even mention that as an option for a 10-13 year old, at that age, we generally do anything to please our parents and make them proud. No one can make an informed decision at that age.

When i was in class 9th... me and my parents got trapped by this horrible worst ever online edtech company , in one go by there dumb demo they made us to buy there f**king tablet and took 28k from us for class 9th and 10th subscription. After they took the payment they gave us they're recorded class and some stupid timetable which is very lame, which is of no use. in case if we faced any trouble in their tablet this people don't pick the calls also. After this experience with this worst app when I was in class 11 th again I felt hesitant to take vedantu. But vedantu is a pretty good app. I get live classes with India's best teachers, doubt apps etc

Isme schooling system ki hi galti hai school me hi itna acha level ka padhana chahiye ki bacche ko coaching ki jarurat hi nahi pade. Agar bacchon ko coaching se padhna hai tho fir India me school kya kaam bas ek 12th ka marksheet paane ke liye hai jisme bhi fail koi nahi hota hai sabhi pass hi ho jate hai.
Lagbhag sabhi school me bacchon ko practical ke naam per lab manual copy karwai jati hai aur baccha paglo jaise kara jata hai sirf kuch 4-5 marks ke liye.
Jabtak indian education system badalta nahi jab tak yahi coaching mafiya ka kaam chalte rahega aur vo samay bhi door nahi rahega jab bacche ke paida hone ke pehle hi vo kaha se coaching karega decide ho jayega.😔😔😔😔

Here I want to share my story with you all. In 2020 I entered class 10 and it was just the beginning of lockdown. One normal day a representative of Extramarks came to my home for asking admission of my younger brother in their coaching. After talk of few minutes he suddenly started asking me some questions from the topics which I didn't new. Then he convinced my parents to take admission. At that moment because of sudden pressure I said yes for joining the coaching. The representative said that the loan will start within 3-4 days. Later that evening somehow I collected some courage and told my parents that I don't want to join the coaching. My parents agreed to me and called the representative for the cancelation of the course. When we called him for cancelation he said the loan has been started which few hours ago he only said that will start in few days. Till date we are eceiving calls for payment from BAJAJ for completing the loan of the class which I didn't took. Now the representative who came to me has left the coaching and I am still dangling on the loan which was not even allowed by us. They just want money and nothing else.

Nice video doctor! (Please do read my comment below this message as well)
While I agree with the fact that preparing specifically for JEE/NEET is useless before class 11, I somewhat disagree with the notion that people who join coaching institutes before class 11 are "wasting" their lives or are not exploring themselves properly (I mean those who do it under the influence of these fake advertisements actually are spoiling their lives but again, not everyone).
Speaking from personal experience, I have a lot of friends who were deeply interested in Maths and Physics right from class 9 itself, they really wanted to explore more and learn more about the subjects, JEE/NEET was not their ultimate aim, they just wanted to know more. Schools don't really provide the right guidance/set of books to fulfill the need of these students, so they decided to join coaching institutes from class 9-10th (again, not with the aim to clear JEE, but just to get the right resources). Some of these students end up representing India at the International Olympiads, some even get a medal in Astronomy, Physics, Biology etc., and many others join research institutes like IISc, IISERS etc., instead of following the traditional route of MBBS/BTech. I don't see anything wrong with learning higher concepts of science and maths if you're really interested in them.

      @kirkhammett5072 2 года назад +5

There are numerous examples- Stuti Khandwala, Chitrang Murdia, Nishant Abhangi etc., most of these people knew much beyond the +2 syllabus before even starting Class11th and in my opinion, all of them have done rather well for themselves as researchers in their respective fields.
Talking about myself, some of the teachers at my institute are really good, they really encourage us to think and encourage us to go for research careers, I know that my centre might be an exception, but well afaik, even in Kota, there are some really really great teachers who have a good experience of guiding these curious students, a lot of them have RUclips channels as well (if you want, you may look out for Arvind Tiwari, Janardhan sir, Amit Gupta etc.)I think that these teachers are only interested in imparting good science education to their students rather than teaching for some examination (and yes, syllabus of JEE/NEET is much easier than the respective olympiads, so these students end up doing well in competitive exams as well, but again, it was not their ultimate aim)
Also, I'm in no way defending these manipulative advertisements, if you're studying higher maths just because you want to pass some exam, then yes, even I agree it is useless, but if you want to study it because you like it, because you're passionate about it, because you don't see exams as a means of end but rather a way of learning new things- then what's wrong ? :)
Competitive exams have been so over-romanticised that nowadays people think that anyone who is studying/going to coaching institutes is doing so just because he wants to clear these exams, they just can't digest the fact that some people really like their subjects and they're not in a rat-race to win/loose.
That being said, I know that you were not targetting any students as such, in fact you're a really wonderful human being, I can never expect you to do so. I understand that the intent of your video was to expose the malpractices of these institutes and not target any students as such, but on reading the comments, I thought that some people have misinterpreted your video and hence, I wanted to clarify.
      Cheers!😊

Sir plz pin my comment this is very important
    6:10
    2.25 lakhs student enrolled
Selection per year - around 3500(you can check on website or on module
Selection and qualification are different )
Ratio 1/64 which means that out of 64 student only 1 student will be selected,
In one batch or in your class room there are around 60 students
So you have to be no.1 in your class then only there is chance of your selection

It's great that you are saying these things man, you don't know how angry I get watching this happen, I am in class 12th and am preparing for jee, and frankly bro , Mains crack karne ke liye koi coaching ki zaroorat nhi hai, Because I am somehow good at maths and have cracked olympiads , my relatives and neighbours ask me about their children education and There are literally people who are hardly getting food on their table and are getting scammed by these people, one day a women asked me if she should deposit the money asked by byjus for her son who is in class 9th and frankly have no interest in pursuing science, this women house hardly earns enough to feed their family....... You are someone that can take these people down because you have excelled at these things so people will listen to you, just like great power with great knowledge and intelligence their must come great responsibility and I am happy to see that you are acting responsible unlike some other youtubers like iqlipse Nova who literally embraces coaching institutes that regularly scams people and is an iitian
