The sheer amount of dread in Rays voice when he realizes that he has to play Chain of Memories is such a perfect representation of the Kh communitys opinion on that game
I am so happy that Ray accidentally did the bug in the KairixSora cutscene. If you ever open the journal in that room while Kairi is there before the cutscene, sora just bugs right out. You can't control him but he does very predetermined actions as if it were a planned feature by one stray dev. 59:00
PS. Ray did the absolute correct way of getting everything wrong looking at the covers of the games and I still love it. 1:21:50

Watching Ray play this on stream and then never get around to playing CoM or KH2 on stream led me to buying KHFM and playing through the entire series myself because I didn’t want to wait. KH has become one of my absolute favorite game series of all time, so thank you Ray! I grew up on Nintendo games/consoles and never had a way to play KH1 until I got a PS4. Watching the highlights brought back a lot of great memories! And btw that thumbnail is AMAZING 👌

I’ve been watching Ray for 10 years and bro. This is awesome. Kingdom Hearts is one of my favorite game series and he knocked this playthrough out of the park.

If you ever decide to continue the series, may I suggest watching all of Chain of Memories’s cutscenes instead of playing it yourself if you want to get to KH2’s awesome combat sooner? Also, I’m glad to see you enjoyed Kingdom Hearts as much as you did!

I was wondering how ray will handle THAT game. Very divisive. I alwsy wondered what they were thinking releading a gba game that was maditory for the ps2 game that came out to if context on events. Thank god for hd collection

I know you said last year that you do want to continue the franchise eventually. Don't push yourself. Chain of Memories and re:Coded can just be watched in cutscene form, 358 Days/2 can as well if I recall. Just take it at your own pace.

To clarify, I'm pretty sure he is at minimum top 3, not necessarily the strongest. Granted his competition is a practically omnipotent god, and a legendary god like creature. But yeah, Donald is insanely strong. Maybe in the future he does even more than Zettaflare to show he truly is the strongest.
I always forget that the voice of Kim Possible is also the voice of Yuffie in this game. So hearing that every time is surprising

I do remember seeing a video from KH3 with Donald performing a spell, and then seeing in the comments that it is one of the most powerful spells in all of Final Fantasy and that not even literal gods can perform it. Also that people lost their shit at the fact that he has apparently done it before because Goofy literally tells him don’t in a way that suggests that he has performed it at least once
