Yes - we know the guitar was out of tune at the beginning. Feel free to keep reminding us if you feel inclined - or just read a few comments and realize the point has been made :) @themantraband
Hey, y'all know y'all's guitar wasout right? So, I don't give a crap, if it wasn't Adam saying that, then they need to go on home, cuz they're drunk. Feel free to jump on up and MAIL THIS CRAP! yeh, what I thought. Y'all keep doing what you're doing! Who knows maybe one day you'll have guitar.l techs to throw you a back up tune on it for you, and won't have to worry about that crap.. .the way y'all going by "one day" I mean like one day next week lmao
You know why we don't see many bands covering TOOL? The music is incredibly hard to memorize! It's not like an orchestra, where, every musician can read sheet music & has it in front of them to follow. There's no doubt, in my old drumming mind, that young musicians are easily killing it! I use cheat sheets on set! S.T.P., Lit, G-n-R, Rage, Audio Slave, Soundgarden, Velvet Revolver, etc...ya, our singer likes Scott Weiland a bit 😂 & our guitarist likes Tom Morello a bit too. He does a pretty decent job of mimicking him, his guitar is far from the same setup, but, I'll be like "damn" sometimes! He uses a lot of harmonics & nasty bends on conjunction with the volume knob to hit some pretty close notes! The impossible though, ya, we don't play those songs! 😂
I've watched several live tool videos that just sucked , this is a pretty good video . stick with it , it just keeps getting more fun the longer you play .
He's still in the mix. He had another commitment the night of this performance so the band pulled in another vocalist...who will continue practicing/performing with them.
