Michael said when he's dancing he isn't thinking about grabbing anywhere loll so when he did it was subconsciously, he said he felt the music and became the instruments while dancing, it was the music that compelled him to do his movements, he looked sooo beautiful doing this era and his outfits were ICONIC ❤❤
No it wasn't subconsciously lol. It's choreographed, he literally does it in every Bad Tour performance in 87, 88 and 89 lmao
I absolutely love this performance of “Heartbreak Hotel” MJ had so much energy and the swag is just off the charts this is truly Prime MJ you’re watching him in all his glory and he’s truly unstoppable and in his element his peak to me was Dangerous Era after that he just kept on peaking and staying in his prime and only MJ was able to do that past,present & future🤩🙌🏽👑❤️🔥🌟

MJ didn’t grab nothing in specific lol it’s just an effect he does to give it that illusion that he just threw a pyro 🧨 etc. MJ also improvised alot as well he’s a genius he’s great at making things that go wrong or things that weren’t according to plan look natural!👑💯

That shuffle he got from James Brown and just polished a little and made it a little of his own. I am a HUGE MJ fan going back to the 70's and he is number one in my book. Having said that YOU NEED to react to James Brown Night Train performance on the TAMI show. Thats all im going to see there is a lot of story this performance as the he was opening for the Rolling Stones imagine that. Just watch and we see where MJ got some of his moves from, he is is own man and his performances and dance moves are unmatched but he openly admitted to being a huge fan of him and of course Jackie Wilson. Enjoyed this one.
If you read into who inspired Michael Jackson, you’ll notice more and more how much of his stuff comes from his inspirations. Such as Jackie Wilson, Fred Astaire, James Brown, etc. The biggest one is Fred Astaire and where MJ got the inspiration of the Smooth Criminal short film from. Truly amazing. Definitely should check those out. I’ve seen RUclips videos of examples.

5:19 this part is actually part of the heartbreak hotel song. So he pretends he has a bomb on his pocket and pretends to throw it down and the guitarist appears. So I think he puts his hand on his pocket to pretend he’s getting out a bomb in the victory tour. and on the bad tour he just puts his hand inside his bad tour belt to pretend he’s getting out the bomb.

The bad tour, definitely the best solo tour he ever did, he sang live, and was in better health both mentally and physically, if i could go back in time, i would go see the bad tour, but i did see him live in leeds for the dangerous tour❤ ❤❤ ❤❤❤❤

Seph you need a spin alert, a moonwalk alert and a toe stand alert! 😅 One way he was able to do all that incredible footwork was by keeping his weight down. I read that he deliberately tried to maintain his weight similar to a dancer’s body.

Micheal jackson also did the bad tour concerts in 1987 and 1989 too. So the bad tour was from 1987 to 1989 and it’s one of the longest tours Micheal has done because normally he would tour for one year but in this tour he did it for two years

@@SephPlays that's great you look like you're having a lot of fun!! So I basically grew up listening to his music here and there and my parents played his songs a lot while I was growing up and I knew his name and who he was obviously but I was never actually interested or anything so just this past year I started to really get into his music and who he was as a person and I fell in love lolll like not only for him as an incredible performer and singer but mostly him as a human being, especially after I watched some of his interviews and watched documentaries about him and his life and his private tape recordings, I was really touched on how kind and sweet he was and I think I'm now a fan 😂❤ I just wish I could give him a hug, what a tragic life he had he suffered a lot 😢😢 but now watching it all with you is soo amazing, I think you're slowly becoming a fan too haha 😂❤ hopefully you're not struggling a lot with the copyright and stuff I know some companies or owners of some artist's content doesn't really allow "reactors" to react to their music, don't know how it's been with MJ tho..

Ohhhhh copyright is a pig with MJ. I've been threatened by the company who owns Jackson 5/the jacksons. They basically said they would sue me for copyright infringement if i carry on putting up their songs 😭

Well seph i have an answer for why is the crotch grabbing .. but i will leave that answer until you see Michael interview with oprah Winfrey 1993 she asked him that question you will know the answer from Michael himself soon enough because you are so close to dangerous era which when he done this interview in his Neverland ranch it consider the most watched interview of all time ever until this day 😉

Don't know if you have reacted to Elvis Presley and michael jackson, I've got a feeling in my body. You will see where he got his moves from. He just tweaked them a little. Don't get me wrong, I love michael jackson. It's just interesting to see how Michael, who loved Elvis, took a lot of inspiration from him, from song titles, album titles, dance moves, clothing, and even re-created photos Elvis took. Also he was married to Elvis' daughter, Lisa Marie Presley.
It's an interesting subject, but its not one that i can look into yet. Because im reacting to these guys in chronological order it would spoil things for me. It would be like watching season 10 of a tv show while you are still in season 1 😂
Interesting point. This is absolutely new for me. I haven't found anything so far in my research about Michael that Elvis had an influence on Michael. Michael was definitely influenced by the following artists: James Brown, Fred Astaire, Sammy Davis Jr, Gene Kelly, Marcel Marceau, Charlie Chaplin, Jackie Wilson, Bob Fosse, Mavis Staples.
Michael mentions in some interviews which artists influenced him, but if I remember correctly, he didn't mention Elvis in this context.

There was literally nothing about Elvis that inspired Michael. MJs inspiration was James brown and Fred astaire. Elvis didn't influence him. MJ said it himself in his book. His song titles, album titles, dance moves and clothing were not inspired by Elvis. This is ridiculous
