1:57 it is not a Goomba in all 7 levels, the enemies keep changing in every boss level.
Example: If it is a Goomba in the first level it is a Koopa in the second level and so on.

The Super Mushroom wasn’t replaced by the turnip in Super Mario Bros. 2 US at all. The mushroom and turnip filled very different roles (the turnip was a weapon you could pick up and throw,) not to mention that the mushroom was indeed in SMB2US, and it increased your health just like in the original.
I think you misunderstood what he said. He stated that the mushroom was replaced with a turnip *on the box art* to make it more unique to that game

It’s still crazy to think about that it lost levels wasn’t so hard and similar to the first game then Shy Guys,Birdos,Snifits,Pokeys,Bob-ombs,and Ninjis would’ve never become Mario characters at all despite being staples now.
Fact 8 at 1:51 is not entierly true. Only World 1 Bowser is a Goomba. Each world reveals a different ennemi when killing Bowser with fireballs.

Okay that's a whole new level here ! I didn't know all these facts about old super mario games, there was just so many more than the base games with additional levels and ports but it remains so little talked about..

Technically, Yoshi’s New Island would be “Super Mario World 3,” since it’s a midquel between the SNES original and Yoshi’s Island DS, which would thus be “Super Mario World 4” (though even more technically, the Yoshi’s Island games are prequels to the entire Super Mario series).
And since Super Mario World is Super Mario Bros.4 (as a sub title in JP), Yoshi's Island DS would be **Super Mario Bros. 7**

Shigeru Miyamoto originally wanted to make Popeye, Olive Oyl, and Bluto game, but he never allowed to use them due to copyright.
So Shigeru Miyamoto creates Jumpman, DK, and Pauline as an alternative characters and that's how Mario came to be.

Every Mario game was and will be a dream created by Wart, represented by Bowser. The original trilogy marks the end of the series. Mario 1 is the last “true” dream. Mario 2 is Mario journeying through his subconscious to free the Subcons, defeat Wart, and free himself from his endless dreams. Mario 3 is a real life stage play based on his dreams, ending with the closing curtain wrapping up the Mario series. He doesn’t feature all of the enemies he met in his adventures because you don’t always remember all the details of you dreams, just the recent ones.

Daisy was first playable in Mario kart 8 for the wii u which came out in 2014.. Smb run game out in 2016. For me Mario kart is a more mainline game than Smb run.

0:40 In my opinion, it feels like Nintendo "hates" fangames more than emulation. Nintendo seems to only go after fan games that could affect sales of their games or future products. Two examples being Super Mario Maker 64 which was basically SMM in SM64 that got taken down close to SMM2 release year. The other example being Mario Royale which was mentioned in the video (7:02). There really hasn't been any major form of takedowns or DMCA claims over emulation other than simple RUclips video takedowns.

The other game was a Mario Tennis game (not much to say). There was also possibly a Mario Kart VB game planned, but it was mostly likely cancelled due to either the poor sales or hardware limitations.
Not trying to be mean in anyway. It's just that it is very easy to notice some mistakes in this video when you know this much about Super Mario.

They sure do appear in SMB2. You get them from the potion doors and they’re used to spin the slots for extra lives.
If you count the mystery mushroom as a playable charecter, then Nabbit would not be the ONLY PLAYABLE ENIME, either. (though I won't count it as "playable charecter" since it's just a outfit, and even the SMM2 link doesn't count for me)
