This is the one thing that all of us will gonna have to find out on our own I guess, through our own experience. Every astrologer says something different on this matter
At the end of the day, there will always be an example for the use of True Rahu, and an example for the use of Mean Rahu. Because future can't really be predicted, usually astrologers look back in time and interpret charts backwards - like this got activated, therefore that happened etc.
Aaaand nobody even knows for sure what is the right Ayanamsha anyway (that's another thing that is open for debate), therefore such small differences in calculation are very difficult to determine. There are only opinions 😉

I have always used Mean Nodes as they are only visible during eclipses and as such they are connected to Sun and Moon and Sun and Moon are never Direct so it is only correct to use Mean Nodes

I love all the information you give through your videos! Thank you thank you thankyou! I am having s hard time with conjinctions in that I have so many going on in the same house. I have sun/rahu/saturn/jupiter/mercury all im the same house (11th/Leo). ( mars 9th, moon 8th) And ive watched the conj videos that apply but how do I apply all of this at the same time? Could you talk about when there are multiple conjunctions going on in the same house. Should more focus be on one over the other, etc..Thank you again for all the great knowledge! Love your channel ❤

My Ra/Ke are in the 1/7 D9 mean node and 2/8 D9 true node. It is definitely 1/7 without a doubt.

Kindly teach us which is the best ayanamsa to use for Vedic astrology. There are many and there is a lot of confusion regarding this.

If i use true nodes then rahu goes to 12th house of navamsa otherwise it's in 11 th with moon..i am confused what to do now..as i am running rahu antardasha 😅

Sorry, but I was not convinced. Why take the average, when it can be exact. Why remove the wobble, when astronomical calculations are at the very basis of astrology. And astrology is an observational science. I have the opposite experience with the nodes. I was used to use the mean node, but when an astrologer told me that the true node is the exact position of Rahu at the time of birth, not the average and I saw my chart with the true node, everything all of a sudden went to its right place, and I have had no doubts since then about any placement in D1 or the divisional charts. 🙏❤️
That’s fine, however remember what is observed is only half the story! Western astrology has struggled for years to explain to scientists how astrology is working they come up with all sorts of theories like the gravitational pull of the planets et cetera. But you can’t explain astrology using astronomy. You can,t use observed empirical methods to exolain astrology. We are dealing with subtle not gross energy here.
Even the planets themselves are not the actual Grahas! , The planet Mars we see in our solar system simply represents Mangala, and Rahu certainly is much more than a mathematical point.
These are deep concepts.
@@astrologyloka of course, I agree that these are deep concepts and Rahu is not just a mathematical point. And that the grahas are not those rocks. And even the elements, water, fire, etc are not the physical elements, but the spiritual essence of the elements. This is the subject of astrology, but it uses the astronomical calculations, doesn't it? A sidereal astrologer calculates the solstices and the equinoxes, and then applies the ayanamsha to see the karmas of the planets. To see the average position of Rahu calculations are made, too. And calculations are just calculations, why not calculate exactly instead of averagely. Interpretations are done by astrology, but calculations have to be as exact as possible.
I’m with you, I have a 0 degree Virgo Rahu (true node) but 29 deg Leo Rahu (mean node), and worked with astrologers and teachers and been alive long enough to look at major life events and the 0 deg Rahu is the accurate one. I respect the astrologers who use mean node and find accuracy in it, but I think we need to stop demonizing true node when it works for many
@@ShailaBano yeah, calculations are calculations, interpretations are better based on exact calculations. I think in the past it was difficult for astrologers to calculate the true node. But nowadays it is different.
For personal horoscopes true node, for mundane mean node. 👍
Thanks Gina. Pt. Sanjay's Devaguru software places my Rahu in 3rd house with mean node and with true node in the 4th house. Both features of Rahu in 3rd9more) and 4th are applicable on me. I am Gemini ascendent with Caner rashi with Jupiter also placed in 2nd house along with moon. I am an ardent follower and religiously listener of your podcast and also understand FROM YOUR VIDEOS that my Rahu 4th house will make it my atmakarka due to 1 degree but has to be counted highest and my 2nd house moon makes me fall in alternate mahadasha pattern(Kesma). Kindly provide clarity as I am utter confused of my Rahu placement. Same goes for my daughter 18 seconds of her birth time changes her moon position from 2nd huse to kendra and also how to read her Vimshotari (Kesma or Moon). Please advise. I am not seeking astrology advise but understanding which chart is correct.
