About the lady who looks like darth maul, she is the same species as him (Zabrak). The nightsister witches on dathomir I think were only half Zabrak so they didn’t have horns. (Feel free to fact check that) and I don’t think all Zabraks are from dathomir tho.
So the horn lady: zabrak can be found in multiple planets, the fenales from dathomir dont have hotns and subjugate their men. The ones from iridonia do have hirns and dont subjugate the men
Along the lines of what was brought up at the end, I saw someone once point out that you can replace every instance of "The Force" with "The Plot" and the lines still work. The Plot is what gives a Jedi their power, use The Plot Luke, etc. It is almost like Star Wars has a major conceit at the heart of all of the stories that the force can make things happen, what things, whatever is needed to advance the story. It is brilliant.
This was a fun reaction, especially the Patreon plug. 😅 Aren’t the Jedi also a cult? Sincerely asking. The witches didn’t seem like any worse a cult. (Except Mae.) This felt more to me like settler colonials trying to take kids from their family and induct them into their state sanctioned religion. (Like how Native American kids were forced into Christian schools and had to give up their language and culture.) Side note, Sol mentions Osha’s mothers in the first episode, so lesbian moms should not have been a total shocker for anyone.
Yeah it definitely didn’t pain Jedi of this Era in the best light or in general. I suppose you could argue any strict force based group is a cult lol. If anyone is still shocked by the existence of a Lesbian couple in general they’re living under a rock.
@@marshsundeen That was part of my point. If they're calling the witches a cult, then the Jedi would also be a cult. And to your point, Mother Aniseya was willing to let Osha go just as any parent whose child wants to leave home to pursue their dream. The narrative of this episode frames the witches as a family that want to pass on their traditional beliefs and practices to their children, and the Jedi as outsiders who want to tell them how to do things the "right" way and recruit their kids.
I am having such a good time watching you watch the Acolyte. Did this ruin Star Wars? HELL NO!!!! if anything, it enhances the lore, gives it deeper meaning, and just maybe, another point of view. I'm enjoying this show immensely. And I think we're going to revisit the night of the fire again, from the point of view of Mae. Or maybe even the Jedi. It's going to be a ride 😅
Bahahaha @@burnbearscomedyThis is what makes me still watch your other stuff Travis and Katie. You don't care about thee drama or the critical side of it and enjoy this, I think objectively, garbo, but you also understand others don't like it and when someone ridiculous like kronostvx is going with the touch of the 'tard, you don't entertain that either hahaha. I definitely can't stand the show, it's writing and production direction are terrible, the dialogue is laughable, so I'll not watch these lol. But I look forward to your guys' next watch. I would love to see your goofy selves watch all the Mortal Kombat movies hahaha. The new MK movie was one some people hated on that I really enjoyed.
Only time ive ever considered joining a patreon, nicest mugging ive ever had

THANK YOU! We couldn't figure it out!
The intro was amazing😂 based burn bears you guys are great.
I’m glad someone finally spoke the truth on these reactions some considered not reacting to the rest of the show cus of those people

Got ya. Thank you for the info!
@@burnbearscomedy sorry about the typos I was working lol
No problem! Haha
This episode was from Osha's point of view. We will see Mae's and the Jedi's POV next. I think a Sith had a hand in taking out the Coven.
“You got five dollars?”
“Give it”

However with most cults, you cannot leave (think Jonestown or Heaven's Gate). Osha was able to leave, so did Ahsoka.
