how do i add a js separate JS file to notepad++ like i do my css? i have no css issue but JS dont work. i put and other scripts in my header to no avail. my n++ is named main.js thanks

you saying .js file not working?
make sure the .js file is in the same folder as other files like .html .css

I installed the preview html and after the steps it says "no preview available". What sould I do?

the preview html only works for html files, and only if html file is selected, so if you on any other file other then .html the preview html do not work. if you make any change on other files then save those files and come back to html file so you can see the changes. hope this helps

It always removes the .html or .css after saving or renaming in my file explorer? Makes me have to use different labels to tell the difference between my files. If I rename the file in file explorer it will say new.html.html or new.css.css when I go back to notepad++
