Hello Sir, I would like to draw your attention on one point which is that you have put negative sign alternatively while calculating Minors. May I know why because I have been calculating Minors without putting any negative sign and then finding out Co-Factors from and the result has been correct. So, I just wanted to clear that you're putting the negative sign alternatively whiile finding Minors, is it the normal way of finding the Minors or you are just doing it to make calculations easier. Also, my numerical value of each Minors are same as yours but since you have put negative sign, so our sign has been different. Thank you sir.

I think 12:37 pe ek choti si prob hai; upper triangular ya lower triangular me koi ek triangle zero hona hai. doosra wala zero ho bhi skta hai aur nahi bhi. For example, in upper triangular the upper elements might be zero too without disturbing the triangularity of the matrix

at 21:56 minutes, you said there's a condition for multiplication of matrix that the no. of column of A should be equal to no. of rows of B but your example for this is not satisfying the condition 😕😮😟

When finding determinant of a 3 by 3 matrix M, the sign convention is always:

For example (using the same example shown in the video),

let A = 2 7 3 So det (A) using the 1st row is = [ (+1) * | 7 3 | ] - [ (6) * | 2 3 | ] + [ (4) * | 2 7 |
8 9 5 | 9 5 | | 8 5 | | 8 9 |
= 1 * ( 35 - 27 ) - 6 * ( 10 - 24 ) + 4 ( 18 - 56 )
so, det (A) = - 60.
If you used the 2nd row to find det (A), [ again using the sign convention ],
it will be = ( 2 ) * | 6 4 | + 7 * | 1 4 | (3) * | 1 6 |
| 9 5 | | 8 5 | | 8 9 |
= (-2) * ( 30 - 36 ) + (7) * ( 5 - 32 ) - (3) * ( 9 - 48 )
thus, det (A) = - 60 ( the same answer as when we used the 1st row to calculate det (A) )
Conclusion: You can use ANY ROW or even ANY COLUMN (as long as the sign convention is followed) to find a determinant of a matrix :-)

Hello Sir, I would like to draw your attention on one point which is that you have put negative sign alternatively while calculating Minors. May I know why because I have been calculating Minors without putting any negative sign and then finding out Co-Factors from and the result has been correct. So, I just wanted to clear that you're putting the negative sign alternatively whiile finding Minors, is it the normal way of finding the Minors or you are just doing it to make calculations easier. Also, my numerical value of each Minors are same as yours but since you have put negative sign, so our sign has been different.

I think 12:37 pe ek choti si prob hai; upper triangular ya lower triangular me koi ek triangle zero hona hai. doosra wala zero ho bhi skta hai aur nahi bhi. For example, in upper triangular the upper elements might be zero too without disturbing the triangularity of the matrix
