Impressive video! Congratulations. We have the same boat: a Dufour 485 GL from 2008 and I have a technical question…. I need to replace the rudder bearings and I am looking for information where I can get new bearings and how it works to do the replacement. I wonder if you could give me some information, for which I thank you in advance. My name is Karel Van Pelt (Belgium) and I would love to come in contact with you.
Hi Karel, Rudder bearings for spade rudders usually last only 6-10 years, or less depending on the manufacturer. You will need to check with your local Dufour dealer as your bearings may be very different from the one on this boat, even if they are the same model. They may have used Jeffa, or Harken, or someone other brand. The local Dufour team will definitely be able to help, but please email us if not.

On my knees Anna she's beautiful just like the owners what a beautiful couple they've cared for that boat and it shows on your video just how much care and attention she has had done to her a true family home but if they care too donate her for a couple of years then I'm your man I can dream aye

In California USA. Love Dufours. There has been a 485 in the USA for sale for many months. Had a surveyor do a walk through and he got off almost as fast as he got on. Oh well. Is this boat still available?
