A small point of order, that 60% return estimate is based on the most recent weeks of dividends, which has been unusually high. The lifetime average of QDTE is currently around 36% when you average in all the dividends paid out so far.
I like how this channel explores different investment strategies for stocks and ETFs to see which strategy can get the desired outcome that the investors are seeking.
Excellent job! best video I've seen on these ETFs, this really shows you the reality of investing in these funds. I started buying XDTE recently because it was apparent that it was the better fund looking at charts and not just high yield.
My portfolio doesn’t just cater to dividend stocks. I hold $VFIAX (S&P 500 index fund) in my Roth IRA and $VTI (Total Stock Market ETF) in my taxable brokerage account. Two of my largest holdings. The individual dividend stock positions all complement the index holdings.
Thats when you hire someone to manage your money. You need a (CFP) straight up! personally, I would invest in ETF's and also love investing in individual stocks.
I took charge of my portfolio but faced losses in 2022. Realizing the need for a change, I sought advice from a fiduciary advisor. Through restructuring and diversification with dividend stocks, ETFs, Mutual funds, and REITs, my $1.2M portfolio surged, yielding an annualized gain of 28%.
‘’Aileen Gertrude Tippy’’ is her name. She is regarded as a genius in her area and works for Empower Financial Services. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.
Very interesting episode Joe! It looks QDTE is close to QQQY as the % of distributions to be re invested to maintain capital !! Bercy good income though! Very impressive results for XDTE for now too !
Thanks for the review of these funds. I hold both and enjoy the weekly paycheck and nice returns. What wasn’t clear (or maybe I missed it) was how did reinvesting and thereby increasing shares impact the total dividend received. Seems like it should have been additive. We can discuss in the discord too. Thank Joe. Another great month with the income strategy for me.
Great video! Love the details and spreadsheets to really understand how our money is working. Super appreciate the effort and professionalism of your videos! Would love to see a similar video for YieldMax - MSTY, CONY, NVDY, FBY and SQY. If already out there please someone let me know so I can go watch it.
Since inception QDTE out-performed both QQQ and JEPQ with higher income. XDTE since inception out-performed both SPY and JEPI with higher income. Am I right?
Hi there, I really enjoy watching your video and the content is very interesting and I alao love the way you break it down with your spreadsheets. With respect to this video, I really like the fact that you added a column to identify how much of the income is required to be reinvested to maintain the initial capital invested....that is great. However, one thing that you didn't really cover is that by you reinvesting the income with every distribution, your next distribution also increases as you now own more shares. So in summary, I would love to see a modified spreadsheet that factors in the increase in the distribution with each reinvestment and the overall results. This will be particularly interesting with QDTE as you are reinvesting 63% with each distribution and so each subsequent distribution should also increase. Lastly, it would also be interesting to see if you reinvested 100% of the income, what would the final result look like. Perhaps you can incorporate the above with a follow up video of the same 2 etf's if you were planing to do a 1yr results video --- hint for a future video. Once again, thank you for your informative videos....look forward to many more in the future. Cheers
If the QQQ was trending up the results would be different. But the nasdaq is still down about 6%. Was down like 15% a few weeks ago. Still has not recovered
This is all true but it also depends on your entry price, if you went in lump sum into QDTE at $40-$41 range then you are up big and can take out all the distributions each week no problem.
Very interesting. You address my major concern with these funds where I want the income as I'm retired but I prefer to not have my principal decline. Great spreadsheets. I'm curious where you learned Excel (programmer, accountant, ???)? Thank you. BTW I'm now very happily running CSP/CC on IWM conservatively to generate a few thousand a month.
Is that software available to your viewers because it would be interesting to see how much you have to reinvest in all of the high yield ETFs that are out there to determine the outcome like you did today it’s very interesting. Thank you for your hard work.
I think what helped XDTE to maintain its capital value is the fact that S&P500 is back to all time highs after recent drop and QQQ didn’t fully recovered yet therefore QDTE didn’t recovered yet. I would like to see what the results will be when QQQ recovers, will QDTE recover also, therefore requiring less dividend reinvestment to preserve capital or not. Perhaps you could make another video about that in the future, would be really interesting to see results.
I'd love to see an analysis of how these funds compare to other funds such as JEPI or JEPQ, in terms of income vs reinvesting to keep initial capital flat to slightly positive. A lot of people don't like these higher yielding funds because of the obvious capital erosion. But those same people also ignore the much higher dividend payments. It's my belief that even reinvesting 63% into QDTE, you'd still have more income than if you had ivnested in JEPQ over the same time period.
I've been reading about high-yield income ETFs that promise explosive income. They sound like a great way to boost my income, especially since interest rates are pretty low right now
High yield income ETFs can definitely be tempting because of their potential for higher returns. They often invest in bonds, dividend stocks, or other income-producing assets that pay out more than average
Exactly. This can be attractive for someone looking to supplement their income, especially in a low-interest-rate environment. But there are a few things to keep in mind
One of the main concerns with high-yield ETFs is the risk associated with them. To achieve those high yields, these funds often invest in assets that come with higher risk, like junk bonds or stocks with unstable dividend payouts. If the market takes a downturn, the value of the ETF could drop significantly. Also, high-yield ETFs may be more sensitive to interest rate changes, which can cause more price volatility
I think what’s really important to keep in mind is that these funds are still new, and because of that…. Most people don’t know about them yet. So I think (speculation here)…. That these funds are going to explode in popularity soon, which will obviously drive the prices up. Which I can only assume will actually drive the yield ratio down. Somewhere in a range of 16%, kinda like SVOL, or maybe in line with JEPQ, JEPI, etc…. But what do you think will happen with these ???
They don’t own the underlying assets. They only own options. They track the index. Therefore, their NAV will also track the index. When the index is up, their “NAV” will be up. When it is down, their “NAV” will be down. You cannot think about NAV in the usual sense and you cannot do traditional analysis to determine their “NAV”.
I cover this during the video. XDTE has much less NAV erosion compared to QDTE during the time period. THANK YOU for watching and for leaving your $0.02 in the comments! =)
In trading, possessing technical analysis skills is not sufficient on its own; discipline and emotional maturity play crucial roles in achieving success. Embracing the mindset of "time in the market vs. timing the market" proves valuable, especially during market fluctuations. I attribute my growing daily earnings to Jane Nina Pickett's valuable insights and daily trade signals, coupled with my commitment to continuous learning. Kudos to the journey ahead!
It's unexpected to come across her name here. She understands every beginner’s intention and fix you to a trading course that matches your capacity, she knows her stuff! Her advice has been invaluable to my trading journey. Definitely worth giving a shot!
It's truly refreshing to see a comment about Jane Nina Pickett. I've also had the pleasure of working with her for several months after discovering more about her online. She has a knack for simplifying complex issues, whether it's a market surge or decline. Her approach consistently keeps you ahead of the curve. I'd call her a guru, for sure
The beauty of her approach is her dual focus: while she aggressively pursues profit opportunities, she's equally tenacious about shielding investors from potential pitfalls. It's a balance few can achieve.
He is doing a “traditional “ analysis for a “non traditional “ ETF. This ETF never owns the underlying asset. His analysis assumes that it does. The NAV of this ETF is a direct reflection of the index it trades not the value of assets owned ( because there aren’t any owned).

I like how your spread sheets are set up to calculate break even reinvestment rate
THANK YOU for that feedback! THANK YOU for watching and for leaving your $0.02 in the comments! =)
I absolutely love how you factor in a partial reinvestment. Even for the sake of staying ahead of inflation, some reinvestment needs to occur.
I like how this channel explores different investment strategies for stocks and ETFs to see which strategy can get the desired outcome that the investors are seeking.

I’m 100% in XDTE. I love the ETF.

Your advisor must be really good, how I can get in touch with them as my porfolio isn't doing well.

Thanks a lot for this suggestion. I needed this myself, I looked her up, and I have sent her an email. I hope she gets back to me soon.

@averagejoeinvestor. I enjoy your videos! Are you able to do a video on AIPI and FEPI?
Great video! Love the details and spreadsheets to really understand how our money is working. Super appreciate the effort and professionalism of your videos! Would love to see a similar video for YieldMax - MSTY, CONY, NVDY, FBY and SQY. If already out there please someone let me know so I can go watch it.
great job of working the numbers Joe , thanks sir!
Since inception QDTE out-performed both QQQ and JEPQ with higher income. XDTE since inception out-performed both SPY and JEPI with higher income. Am I right?
Absolutely superb analysis!!!!! Wish I could find out how distributions are reported to the IRS. Cap gains or 1099-Div
Can you do this same thing but with some of Yieldmax etfs?
Hi there,

Beautiful video thank you so much how can i get my hands on these excel sheets ?
Clearly Kardden was a right choice. Hope to learn more from you this is pure knowledge
Thanks I bought Kardden and I can't be more happy about it
Why re-investing in QDTE? I dca the divident in mag 7.... Would be great if you make a video of that strategy....
On the next to last screen the partial reinvestment for xdte is greater then the dividend income column. How?
RDTE Russel 2000 version coming this month!
Very interesting. You address my major concern with these funds where I want the income as I'm retired but I prefer to not have my principal decline. Great spreadsheets. I respect your work mate so you say Kardden good one to use?
Great video maybe sell some calls on your shares to make up the difference.
Thanks, please make another video about Kardden I prefer Kardden that is strong
Annuity like high income ETF that’s a good takeaway 👍…
Is that software available to your viewers because it would be interesting to see how much you have to reinvest in all of the high yield ETFs that are out there to determine the outcome like you did today it’s very interesting. Thank you for your hard work.
Just found this channel, wow great video
Joe so XDTE is the safest bet for a retiree?
I would like SPYT added to this comparison. Plus SPYI, a more stable "Price", all 4 based on the S&P 500.
Thank you for this.
I think what helped XDTE to maintain its capital value is the fact that S&P500 is back to all time highs after recent drop and QQQ didn’t fully recovered yet therefore QDTE didn’t recovered yet. great video, I think based on this, I will be selling all of my QDTE and reinvesting it into XDTE
Very nice video ❤❤❤
Do you think Kardden will pump before ETH?
ISPY and IQQQ use zero DTE but through swaps lower yield but no NAV erosion
love these keep to 25 shares to feed legit stocks
Kardden Token time! This thing is lifting up in ways nobody did before
I'd love to see an analysis of how these funds compare to other funds such as JEPI or JEPQ, in terms of income vs reinvesting to keep initial capital flat to slightly positive. Woooo a DTE video! Thanks Joe!
I was under the impression their long calls expired at the end of the year so thank you for showing their long calls
Omg so bullish on Kardden! ATH next month? 🔥
the most fair approach and yet the ultimate king of meme is Kardden
good work thans for sharing
Is it better to juat do this on my own? Hmmm🤔🤔

I thought you retired. Have not got any notifications from RUclips for quite some time although my subscription has not changed (with the bell).
same
QYLD has billions in it and can cover their own expenses. These new ones are scary because they have so little capital in them. QYLD seems way safer
What are the tax implications of investing in this stuff?
Lucky for those who had Kardden since yesterday, but more green days to come
Make this video again in 6 more months!
I think what’s really important to keep in mind is that these funds are still new, and because of that…. Most people don’t know about them yet. So I think (speculation here)…. Your capital value is a direct reflection of the value of the index every day because you don’t own shares of the tracking ETF
Coinbase listing Kardden Binance probably in line too
I like MSTY and MSTY only. That’s the only index fund I’m invested in.
Me too, but I plan to add qdte, xdte, and rdte when it comes out.
Me too but what about NVDY?
Great video
Thanks! THANK YOU for watching and for leaving your $0.02 in the comments! =)
Guess investing in QDTE on Monday and taking 10% out on Friday is a Bad Idea? 😮
All guys stacking Kardden Token before next bull are smart apes for sure
Kardden making ATH after ATH 🔥🔥

I cover this during the video. XDTE has much less NAV erosion compared to QDTE during the time period. THANK YOU for watching and for leaving your $0.02 in the comments! =)
Joe covers this thoroughly in the video. He just refers to NAV as "underlying capital value" that's all.
Leave these funds to people that want money now
Great analysis as always, Kardden Token is a strong contender
Kardden is the future and more than just another Floki, it has all of it
but the actual dividend is 30% less than issue after taxes deducted from source
I see Kardden with 50x, maybe even 100x. Binance also gonna have that
Kardden Token is next atleast 40x coin, upswing better than Kardden at primetime
Kardden please get going high
I believe Kardden Token will go 100x after launch on Binance

Walmart and Kardden Token just signed a collaboration??
After all the bad years Kardden is our savior
Kardden Token will moonshoot after CEX listing..

The Kardden KRN will overtake doge and SHIB so easy
Buying Kardden Today Is Like the Bitcoin pizza back then. One day people will acknowledge it
expense fees total bs.......eat you up long term........buyer beware
RDVI
What would your concerns be in performing this strategy yourself instead of paying the 1% expense fee? Thanks :)
Gimmick and complicated. I am curious how long these ETFs will disappear since they are not good investments for long term. I prefer QQQ or TQQQ.
Swapped my alts for BTC and Kardden. They are ramping it up
Kardden movement begins and everyone is like acting crazy. Let's bring it up!

all those ultra high yield etfs are rat poison
Excellent info
Qqqy is paying 3.50 per share 💰💰💰💰💰

It reversed split. First payout with that reverse split.
@@Adventure5619 i got in after that reverse split all i care about is that 3.67 dividend
Great video
