I reached $138k today. Thank you for all the knowledge and insights you've shared with me over the past few months. I began this journey in October 2024. Financial education is essential for over 70% of the population, as only a few are truly literate in this area. Thanks so much Kimberly Ann Doran.
I've been an investor in Nvidia for the past six years now because I strongly believe in the company and in the stock, but now I've been thinking of redistributing my portfolio of about $560k and buy other stocks. Maybe buy GE or Tesla? The decision can be confusing sometimes
I think the next big thing will be A.I. For enduring growth akin to META, it's vital to avoid impulsive decisions driven by short-term fluctuations. Prioritize patience and a long-term perspective most importantly consider financial advisory for informed buying and selling decisions
I'm intrigued by this. I've searched for financial advisors online but it's kind of hard to get in touch with one. Okay if I ask you for a recommendation?
My FA is Gabriel Alberto William, a renowned figure in his line of work. I recommend researching his credentials further. He has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market
i know its just an example but don't you think choosing an option that is more than a year away a bit misleading as a comparison to YM funds since they tend to stay within a 1-6 month expiration?
This method won't work for most people without portfolio margin rates. Using your IWM example my broker requires a margin equal to the max loss possible in the trade, with a naked short that would be $23K. So not only would I buy paying upfront for the long option I would need to have the full value of the short option in the account as margin. These funds like Yieldmax can pull off this type of trading all day long since most of the fund value is not in the trade, they hold other instruments in their accounts to cover their large short positions.
Newbie question here: does your broker « freeze « this amount in your margin account but don’t charge interest on it except if exercised ? So no interest cost but opportunity cost ?
You guys dont know options 😭 if the put gets assigned the call he bought at the current strike would be used as the collateral and he would lose the difference between the premium whicb is that ~$900
Don't forget the cash you locked up to secure the put. That needs to be part of your ROI calculation too. But fidelity also pays interest in that cash which should be added to the total return too.
As always, a great analysis. Newcomers often wonder if it's too late to navigate the financial market, but the market is always unpredictable. Trading has more advantages than simply holding, so it's important to learn before diving in. Active trades are necessary to ride the market's waves. Thanks to Jordan Annabel insights, daily trade signals, and my dedication to learning, I've been increasing my daily earnings, managed to grow a nest egg of around 140k to a decent 632k. Kudos to the journey ahead!... ✊✊
What impresses me most about Annabel is how well she explains basic concept of winning before actually letting you use her trade signals. This goes a long way to ensure winning trades.
What brokerage lets you do this "naked" where you don't have to hold the full collateral for the put option? Because at that point you're basically paying an extra $900 when you could have just bought shares with the same buying power.
The yield calculation should take into account the margin requirements needed for selling the put. Thus, the actual yield depends on your brokerage. For example, if the requirement is the same as a cash secured put, your yield is 2500 divided by 22500 + 914. That is a bit more than 10 percent.
Hey Joe, I don't quite understand, I think you would need more capital, because the PUT can get assigned and you'd need 40K in cash to cover that, and the broker won't let you open more options as your cash is not enough to cover the PUT assignments. compared to a LEAP that just requires 8K. appreciate your response, likely I'm missing something. thanks
!!I am at the beginning of my "investment journey", planning to put 385K into dividend stocks so that I will be making up to 30% annually in dividend returns. any good stock recommendation on great performing stocks or Crypto will be appreciated
I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I've been making more than $200k passively by just investing through an advisor, and I don't have to do much work. Inflation or no inflation, my finances remain secure. So I really don't blame people who panic.
Without a doubt! Ruth Ann Tsakonas is a trader who goes above and beyond. she has an exceptional skill for analysing market movements and spotting profitable opportunities. Her strategies are meticulously crafted on thorough research and years of practical experience.
great video..thanks.. brilliant strategy.... I will be watching your results.... just so I understand what is being done.... you are creating a synthetic covered call with the long option on IWM and a short option (nearer in exp) against the long option.. and selling a cash secured put

Thanks so much Kimberly Ann Doran.
I'm surprised that you just mentioned and recommended Kimberly Doran, I met her at a conference in 2018 and we have been working together ever since.
The very first time we tried, we invested $2000 and after a week, we received $9500. That really helped us a lot to pay up our bills.
You trade with Kimberly Doran too? Wow that woman has been a blessing to me and my family.
I'm new at this, please how can I reach her?
I was skeptical at first till I decided to try. Its huge returns is awesome. I can't say much
Thanks for the test and strategy. Great info
Very interesting strategy! This is probably closer to what Roundhill is doing on their index income funds ?

He appears to be well-educated and well-read. I ran an online search with his name and came across his website; thank you for sharing
What buying power would be needed to do a synthetic long? (IWM as per your example)
i know its just an example but don't you think choosing an option that is more than a year away a bit misleading as a comparison to YM funds since they tend to stay within a 1-6 month expiration?
I have a LEAP on SPY, but I didn't know that you can sell a put and sell a shorter term covered call with the same collateral
Can you give an example assuming a down market within the next 2 years.

Exactly what I was thinking

How do you manage the trade when the call option gets assigned?
Some CEF and ETF companies have to much ROC for me. In hard times the total value might go down might go to zero in a crash.
This is cool. I look forward to the updates. I'm very excited!
selling a put is actually less risky
Y ?

Her services is the best, I got a brand new Lambo last week and paid off my mortgage loan thanks to her wonderful services!
😱Sounds familiar, I have heard her name on several occasions.. and both her success stories in the wall Street journal!
Rather hold all of the Neos funds than YM.
✨

When do you plan to exit the long synthetics ?
I think you should call Tidal Investments and have them make a TAJI fund. I would buy into it.

Today IWM closed at 226.30 so what would happen to that short call that you sold?
I was wondering the same thing. What would happen if he gets assigned that call?
@ I’m guessing you would be short 100 shares of IWM at the strike
@ So he has to cover it by purchasing 100 shares at current price or higher?
I would think so yes. Or at whatever price it opens Monday. Depending on the account size.
This is known as a risk reversal strategy

I believe this is similar to what the XDTE product does, using the SPY index.
BKLN is great Etf
Thanks Joe, I’m curious to see your results.
Bam! I'm here for the beer

look up her name on the web for her website.
BTCI is the best option for crypto ETF. And I really like SPYI. With the money you have, though you should look into VOO it’s solid 20% performer.
Put all on ZIM stock..
