    can you honestly tell a difference with the catted down pipes with stock exhaust vs stock exhaust without downpipes? does your setup still keep the deep throatier sound? that is the sound I like!....I am not too big on the obnoxious loud raspy sound with a bunch of pops and constant back fire. The C63 S AMG definitely has some luxury to it so I want to improve the face-lift exhaust but definitely do not want anything too loud. My goal is to have a sound that is definitely better than stock with keeping the deep throaty sound, but do not want anything sounding loud, raspy with constant back-firing and pops.....

      Huge difference. Still keeps the throaty sound but adds a bark to the downshift. Nothing crazy, pops and bangs sounds natural and not synthetic like how some people tune them in. Absolutely no drone, really comes alive when you dig in the throttle. Perfect for a car like this.
      Do note that it does add more exhaust smell. Nothing like a catless exhaust but there’s a shell outside. Interior is fine specially with windows up.

      @@fabbas01 ok, thank you for your reply...did you have to get a tune? ... I've read where a tune is not needed with catted downpipes....did you have to get your transmission dropped for the installation as well?......I assume your catted downpipes install didn't void your warranty??

      @@coreypatterson1386 A tune always helps but it is not absolutely necessary.

    Hello question why did you prefer this Over the M3/4 , I’m a Merc owner I have the a35 Amg and it’s tough to decide on the new M3 or this , and why and which felt faster ?

      It’s the overall character of the engine and transmission. It’s a better package in my opinion. This 4.0L engine is truly special.

      Between the F80 and C63, get the C63. However, if you're choosing between the G80 and C63 then get an M3.
