I've been watching that documentary on Kemper's injury in Morocco...really intense. You're a good man Koa. One thing that many people don't realize is that surfers are high level athletes. Having grown up surfing in Southern California, I just did it and didn't think much about it. But at 51 years old I realize now how intense it is. These guys are at the level of Olympic swimmers.
The backdoor wave @ 4:38-4:47 should've been a contender for Wave of the Winter in my book! JOB, Koa Rothman and Koa Smith are the top 3 Pipe Masters today.

As soon as you dropped under the lip of the Panama wave, it looked like the barrel opened up & slowed down slightly, allowing to successfully make it. This was a very well done vid, great balance.

That Morocco wave was looking like a mean and more intense and funkier color J Bay. as a goofy footer I've never focused on my backside and to be totally honest I suck at a backside barrel even though I've caught some sick ones but I would love to spend a week with perfect conditions at that wave

I was fortunate enough to be very popular and well liked in school and I never had to deal with bullies but as I've gotten older I've noticed something that you should know. None of that stuff and I'm talking about bullying seems to matter when you get older and out of school and most of the bullies end up living terrible and miserable lonely lives unless they change and the people who get bullied usually persevere and come out stronger after schooling and live a successful life so just remember that and do your best to stay positive 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
