im building a ocean village also, not even done yet and its taken around like 16 hours to build
watching this much huge projects they undertook, building netherite beacon will take them a week probably i guess
Lol wadzee spent six months for finding debris for normal beacon. If SC started debris mining for huge pyramid then it would take them 99+ years
And there video title would be: we spent 100 years for mining ancient debris

More things to do:
Make a cooler pyramid at the exterior.
Decorate the ocean floor.
Build a night sky.
Build a record breaking dirt house. Make it absolutely huge with a nice exterior and interior.

if you want in the next episode of "spending hours building huge things" you can create a HUGE custom ship in a bottle (mabye with a message inside the bottle... I don't know) I hope you will do something like that I think is a good idea (i can't wait for another huge build)

This is actually a pretty concept for ocean Villages
awesome build as always! The random lights from mobs burning was a nice unforeseen touch. Buttons and pressure plates are another good way to prevent mobs from spawning on roofs, as opposed to using torched.
The villagers are literally living their dream right now 😂

For the dock to be more useful, put a lift or piston door in the side of the pyramid with another dock for boats outbound to the village
yo you can make the bottom more decorative by adding coral because 80% of oxygen comes from corals and it would look pretty good
no, the most part of the oxygen come from the kelps LOL dumb
Phytoplankton. 2/3 of the world’s oxygen comes from phytoplankton.
i searched it up and not even 1% Oxygen is produced by corals

If u rly want 150k blocks, a stacking raid farm (like ianxofours) is a good option for mid game, can be built under 2 hours, and gives 50k emeralds per hour
You guys should try to build a full size Netherite beacon.

It's not possible sadly, witch farms are the slowest ones. I've built one in my perimeter and it produces about 4000 items/hour

As for an Idea for a build,
I was thinking an Idea could be to build a sort of semi-biome.
instead of water in a river, why not make a glowing river or lake, using the fog effect trick with sea lantern's and layered glass. (best thing is that it can be any colour aswell)

because you guys are updating to 1.18, why not do this sort of glowing fog effect inside the giant caverns where there the are underground rivers,
This seems like a much more fitting placement for this sort of project as it would be illuminating the caverns, even possibly using it as a way to navigate through the caves like having a path,
But it is something different and would hopefully like to see this possibly but relatively simple project that may go with anything else down in the caverns, like maybe in the lush caves and ect.
also congrats on getting to 1.35mil subs, you were only at 1mil a while ago, hopefully you reach 2 mil sometime during or by the end of this new year
